I liked this! Kiitos! The photo credit was given to Aurora Borealis in Finland and and the music credit to Lithuanian song and artists! The end result was gorgeous! Very nice presentation and the proper credit given to where/to whom due! A Class Act! One does not see anything like this too often. Thanks, from a Finn living in US! Would be nice if we all could play nice with others and not run with scissors!
Lithuanian in singin sounds very good!! what is that song?? years ago i had friends from Lithuenia and i remember their longuage but this just sounds diffrent:) greetings from Poland
@meatyballs01 This song is " Domantė ir Ieva - Aš pabudau žiemoj ", but you can search for it on youtube like that - Domante, Ieva - As pabudau ziemoj.
I've had the pleasure of seeing the northern lights in Lapland a couple of times and it's one of those moments where time seems to stop and you can't help but stand still and take it in. These pictures are great but seeing it in real life is really something else.
I have lived all my life in Finland but I've never seen northern lights here... That's because I don't live in North-Finland, lights are seldom here anywhere else.
@MrHerkkukurkku Hahaa, again one of those Finns who don't go out in winter time because they don't like nature. Just sitting in front of the computer screen. Shame on you.
@EsaiasP Sorry but you're not right this time =) I really love nature, but northern lights just do not often show here in Middle-Finland, so hahaa yourself!
I like your video...I love the music, it beautiful...what language is it? I can read the comments in spanish but I don't think the song is sung in spanish.
This winter will be the highest revontulet activity in 10 years, if you want to see them, come soon! Next year will be awesome too then it will die off for an other 10 years (They come in 11 year cycles).
@MrBattalion If you visit Finland, Norway or Sweden during winter time you might be able to see the northern lights, this happens more frequently in the NORTH of these countries =) .In Sweden you can try to book a stay at the ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi or you can go to rovaniemi in Finland (Santa´s village is there). Cheers!
@MrBattalion if you go late autumn or late winter/early spring your pretty much quaranteed to see them in north, we see them at south too but they are rarely that bright here they much more beautiful at the arctic circle
one very old finnish folklore tells about mythical firefoxes that are greatest price of all for every hunter and by catching it he would fullfill hes life, get rich, famous and live happy
it says the lights come when the firefox rubs fur on trees and snow as they move on forest
@HilaryHils97 actually, you can see them even in southern finland but it's very, very rare. The norther the better :) I live a bit southern than middle-finland and still have seen auroras one time in here. And couple times in Kuusamo, near Lapland. One of the greatest moments in my life. Just breath taking.
@MrBattalion The Northern lights can be seen from norway, finland & I heard they can be seen in Canada as well. They can be seen in fall, winter/early spring. & the colors & lights are very real! they're never the same twice. But, it's not like you can just show up and see them. You kind of have to play the waiting game. Stay for a week or 2 and most likely you'll see them. You also have to be somewhere where theres not a lot of light so you can truly experience the vibrant colors!
@MrBattalion The Northern Lights are a predominantly winter phenomena in Finland, but they appear every year - because of the solar storms this year they've been particularly breath taking. You can find lots more info on when is the best time to see them in Finland at w w w . discoveringfinland . com / blog / ?p = 39
@minakshi77 Primero de todo el mundo tiene un porcentaje muy alta de que no termine y si hay que ir allí para esta navidad, porque las luces del norte no va a venir de otros 11 años ......
@Naneoc Muted? But it's such a beautiful song. I listen to Korean music all the time without understanding a word of it. Same goes with Japanese music, even though I understand that a bit better lol. The point is, that if you don't understand the meaning of the words, you don't associate them with their meanings and the only thing you hear is the pure pronunciation. Only by then you can hear the beauty in language.
Una casita en el campo...su nieve y un Impreza 4 patas sobre ella ,su lago y mi barquita , y contemplando esa inmensa belleza...pues algún día me iré a vivir allí , sí o sí.
@Eutanazija Ill try my best to translate it as good as i can :D " A house in the snowy field witha a Impreza 4 beside it , in the lake my boat ..to complete this great beauty ...and maybe one day i will live here , yes yes ".
I enjoyed the song ....btw i'll apriciate if you would like to let me know the artist of it..... Thanks!.
@DeeJaySykey hmmm.... I don't remember how many times I wrote the artist of this song, but I'll write it again ;)) It's JIEVA, Lithuanian artist. And the name of the song is As pabudau ziemoj. Just copy-paste the artist to youtube and you should find some song of her :) good luck :)
this is fantastic ..... no one can truly capture the true glory of this, just be thankful you did something to share it with we who never get to see this!
it's written at the end of the video :) the artist is JIEVA and the title is AS PABUDAU ZIEMOJ (i wrote the title in the english letters so that you could find the song on the Internet if you want )
Eutanazija, I like it ! It is also well synchronised, I bet that took you some time. What part of Finland were these clips made? Thanks for sharing Eutanazija :) Any more :) I am planning to learn Finnish...
en verdad envidio mucho a los que viven en Finlandia al poder tener ese privilegio de ver la aurora ... espero q algún dia se me cumpla contemplarla...
I'd really like to know the artist behind this song.
