@milzbrrrrand This is nonsense mate VXR is a term used only for the UK, it stands for vauxhall racing, vauxhall is a UK brand only and sold only in UK it is exclusively for the UK and they are only right hand drive they are built in the UK and developed by GM. OPC is only for opel and opel is for the rest of europe they are left hand drive, same car same engine, different badge different driver side

@08si138 This is what the new 2011 aveo is based off of. Although not the VXR model... that is a euro thing. But i bet that GM will take a note from chrysler and make a tweaked out ss version like the srt-4. You will get this something similar to this come sometime in 2010. GM is going in the right direction with a few of there cars.

@suppmarkxb true but wouldn't say it is better, a 2.5Ltr TOYOTA RAV4 with 4 speed and 179HP and a combined fuel economy of 24 for £17,000 for new... may be big and roary but when compared to as you say a little corsa that has nearly half the engine size at 1.6T for £16,000 that can kick out 192HP With 6 Gears and a combined fuel economy of 38... i think our little cars do quite good for themselves.... and as for mustangs.... In a straight line sure... but were not in the roman times anymore....

In the US we don't get anything like this from any company, not even Honda or Suzuki. GM you deserve to go out of business for designing cars like ths and then refusing to send them to the US.

@bigcrowfly it was Designed by Opel under the GM Europe brand, they have little or nothing to do with the US. shame though, you do miss out on a lot of good cars.
