New Dehner Boots

I tried on the Dehners at Stompers...The shaft is not leather, which I thought was sorta crummy for a pair of boots that cost 600 bucks. I bought the Chipewahs which cost half and are all leather..Not bad. Should I do the same sort of breakin with the shafts?I've worn them about three times and they seem to be breaking in by just wearing them.But the Dehners sure do look nice. Whaddaya think?

@allanfisch -- Chippewa boots should be broken in the same way to be sure you get an even crease across the back of the boot. Enjoy!

You look great in that uniform. A few patrolman that do motorcycle duty I know need some pointers from you. They shape-up for special occasions, but, get very lax for routeen traffic duty - what a shame.

BH, what size are these boots?

@strobine99 the Dehner boots in this video are stock 10.5D, with 1" wider calf.
