the reason vk artist look like girls, is because back before anyone knew about japan, when japan was isolated, if a man could pull off looking like a woman then they were highly respected and now in day's it is still the same crossdressing and actually looking like the other sex is considered very "high class".

That is so horribly misinformed I just had to post a response. It's true that male kabuki actors who specialized in female roles (called "onnagata") were respected, but it doesn't translate to musicians being considered "high class" for crossdressing. In fact, unless it's for high art purposes like kabuki it's considered just as weird as it is anywhere else. The visual kei aesthetic became what it is for many reasons, mostly due to trends in fashion and influence from abroad.
