It goes back to when singles were on a tape, cos you could record on both sides. the first side was just called A and the second side B, so the single would be on the first side and there would usually be a extra song on side B. To this day extra songs on cd singles and downloads are still called Bis for some reason.

it's about janis joplin. she died when she was 27 years old. and pink sings thah she has already made it past the age of 27 so there is no use in dying... that's what i understand. it's a deep song and pink really admires janis and i think that this song is like a tribute to her.
