made me cry...wild or not, they had no clue where to go....you guys were amazing!!.To anyone there....have you ridden your horse thru 50+ free range ?? Well then shut up!! You ladies rock!! I just re-watched this today and it still amazes me!
The women riders doing the rsscue were strangers who had answered a posting on the internet to try a last attempt to save them. The riders had never met before.
Think about it - were they wild horses? Were they escaping? They were being rescued by 5 brave women from your country who risked themselves and their horses so that no more horses would die.
It is the responsibility of everyone who posts a video about a news event to get their facts straight. You Tube has become not only a past time but a way to communicate what is happening in the world.
It is true that the horses on this footage aren't wild. I just wanted to say, what about the Connemara's in France, the Koniks in the Netherlands and Exmoors in the UK?
Those you mention are on preserves and semi managed.
I guess what irks me is the fact this happened ni the Netherlands to an established breeder and to retitle it from what it is is juvenile. As proven by the response below.

They weren't wild. But this is in Eurpe because it is in Holland. But what is true: The horse pushed each other to dead.
By the way: They look like friesians not all but...

Those were not wild horses but brood mares, foals, yearlings and geldings. The only wild horses in Europe are in Russia.

They were wet and wild.
Ok, not really wild, but to me every horse without a saddle is wild ;)

Wonderful story. The horses must have been exhausted, standing there for 3 days with nowhere to go !!
I cried the whole way through. What trust these animals displayed. Great to see a happy ending !!
