Journal writing is great! It doesn't just help emotionally.. But when you go back through your journal to read it you remember things you've forgotten. And what has happened on your day to day life. You "remember" I think that's the best part.
I do keep a journal and I find it very useful. I totally agree that the journal is very theraputic. I love writing and I find myself writing non stop because there are so many thing on my mind...lol Right now I'm typing non-stop. It's like my mind is ready to explode with information and how I feel. I will nost definitely continue with my writing :)
I kept a journal when I was younger but abandoned writing stuff in it after members of my family kept reading my private entries. Writing helped me organize my thoughts. Writing also helped in planning areas of my life. I know that the ideas Mrs. Gill has- free writing and writing for some time are really good. I can attest to the success of both methods. Free writing reveals what is really on a person's mind and writing for some time really helps with the answers a person may be seeking.
Having kept a journal i see no point in it. its a waist of time energy and it does not help you with writing or recording feelings at all. this is a load of rubbish. cant believe they made us watch this crap for college.....total waste of 1:42 of my life
I think that I would to keep writing a JOURNAL now. I think thatits interesting to keep a life journal now to expand my thoughts and feelings and probably figure out my life as each day goes by. I may learn of my weakness and build or reconstruct any patterns that may become a disability later on. i guess that i would make more accomplishment when I see a pattern of unwanted errors. I may come up with better solutions for my life's problems.
i started keeping a journal on a text document on my computer. it is mainly for what i find important in the day and keep track of it to remember it later. im only xx in age so it will help alot when playing and keeping progress in my games
I just started to keep a journal. I used to write journals all of the time when I was younger and it really helped me to understand myself and others. I've been struggling with a few issues and just writing two inserts, I've figured out what is keeping me back. I've learned to worry less and do more. It's been a great stress reliever and a motivation to move forward in life. Like the old saying, "You can only live life forward, and understand it backwards".
I've just started writing a journal. I find it extremely theraputic and I hope it'll help me remember things. But it's ultimately for relaxation, I love it and am glad I tried. :)
The blessing of keeping a journal is to feel free to let out the emotions and feelings you have inside of yourself. If you are worried about a family member reading them, place in somewhere where only you know where its at.
Being 13 yrs old can be a tough age. If you can open up with your mum or with another family member or friend, sometimes talking about your fears or worries can be more beneficial than keeping it to yourself. Either way, good luck to you!! :-)
I love to Journal.
