its a vortec you can tell by the intake trust me one of my friends has a 93 s10 blazer with a 4.3 vortec and another with a s10 with a regular 4.3 and it is the stock engine

@Y0B0YCHRIS they called it Vortec when the 4.3 came out in 88 i think, but i didn't get the Vortec heads until 96 when the small blocks switched to CPI and got Vortec heads also, the 94-95 models got the same TBI heads as before
