North East Cheshire Drag Hunt

I think I have been to that hunt. My great grandma, in Whitegate, keeps horses but doesn't ride them often so persuaded me to go along to the local hunt which her daughter is a member of. Not sure wether it was the north east Cheshire one though?

isnt drag hunting better that fox hunting it has bigger jumps! and stuff like that! I go hunting with The Ashford Valley Fox Hunt!

Most use numnah's for hunting so you cant see them they're just shaped to the saddle

I discovered that a combination of a Dr. Bristol and quite alot of prayers have helped. You have probably descovered as I have that as the horses get bigger pointing them towards impossibly big hedges doesn't stop them! infact it has an undesirable effect!

i can only go when my friends mum goes because i live north of preston, and i can get a lift with them and im very inexprerienced at hunting with a very keen horse so need a hand!

yeah the hunt jumps were no bigger than 2'6... id love to have the confidence to tackle a hedge maybe next year!

i will hopefully be at Cheshire Farmers boxing day meet though.

drag hunting is rubbish hunting! if you gonna do it do it properly. go find yourself a nice pack of foxhounds or harriers and stop going on glorified hunter trials!! But it does look fun!
