I've recently discovered another actor that resembles and has a similar personality of Lynch. Jeff Fahey from the movie Machete. I wonder if Lionsgate has gotten the picture that Jamie Foxx is a poor choice as Lynch yet?
The best thing about Kane & Lynch (minus this theme) in my opinion is just the gritty stories with characters we're not meant to like but we end up fucking loving them haha. Fantastic series and totally underated.
@MrDataCode Can you really blame the actors for ruining the film. Mark in my opinion was a fantastic pick and did a good job with the material given to him. It was Beau Thorne's lackluster script that screwed the movie up, too much of a jumpy plot, hacked dialogue and terrible characterization. The cinematography, was fantastic, the action scenes were well decent, the score was great, everything about the movie was good, except the script.

Thomas Jane. I'll admit I've been a massive fan since the Punisher game, but Jane is a good actor in action movies. The Punisher wasn't a great film, but Jane's performance wasn't the weak link there. Jane is really good at bringing across the gruff, curt, snapping remarks that make up Kane's vocabulary. I think he could be great as Kane.

The original rumored cast was Bruce Willis as Kane and Billy Bob Thorton as Lynch (I think), if those roles were switched it would be perfect.

Jamie Foxx isn't a bad actor, however, even on his worst day, he still looks too good to play Lynch. Lynch is supposed to be the epitome of disturbing - ugly, psychotic, and downright offputting. While I could see Bruce Willis pulling his role well enough (although I'm not a huge fan of the casting), I don't see Foxx portraying Lynch all that well.

I agree with the people that believe Jamie Foxx is a fuck up. Many people have different opinions for who should play lynch e.g. bill mosley beefed up or micky rouke ect, but to find the perfect actor for kane isnt that easy.

Jamie Foxx isn't a bad actor, however, even on his worst day, he still looks too good to play Lynch. Lynch is supposed to be the epitome of disturbing - ugly, psychotic, and downright offputting. While I could see Bruce Willis pulling his role well enough (although I'm not a huge fan of the casting), I don't see Foxx portraying Lynch all that well.
