Common NC, a white actor cant use his talents and play a member of another culture? Bullshit. I'm a white animator and am i allowed to animate white human characters only? At MTV animation there was project called The Bootsy Collins show and only black animators were allowed to work on it. Work is where you find it. Actors are suppose to portray whatever character they are hired to be. Its up to the director to handle it if it over the top. Are aliens only suppose to play aliens? PC madness!

and hearing that guy acting as an indian with such an accent is funny... the way the indian guy was characterized is perhaps the sample of how india was perceived in the 80s...and at 2010 i find that researcher character max patel from avatar surely does show how an indian guy is like today!

WALL-Es of death = priceless. It's interesting, though, Andrew Stanton wasn't directly inspired by Johnny Five when he came up with the idea of WALL-E in 1994. It might have been some kind of subconscious inspirado. Personalitywise, WALL-E is actually more like Ben Jhaveri as he is in Short Circuit 2 (but definately not like the Ben Jhaveri of SC1). Fisher Stevens also played Iggy from 'Super Mario Bros.'
