  • rock salt is too large in our area, used for roads, we would use kosher or coarse salt, like sea salt

  • i like it

  • 7 grams instant yeast = 1/4 ounce instant yeast = 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast = 21 grams fresh yeast or 1 1/4 blocks (0.6 ounce size) or about 1/2 block (2 ounce size) fresh yeast.

1 teaspoon instant yeast (3 grams) = 1/2 block (0.6 ounce size) fresh yeast.

7 grams of active dry yeast = 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast = 17.5 grams fresh yeast = 1 block (0.6 ounce size) or 1/3 block (2 ounce size) of fresh yeast.

1 teaspoon active dry yeast = 1/3 block (0.6 ounce size) of fresh yeast.

  • hey..i tried it today it was good but u didnt say when to use the rock salt? coz i put it with the dough but it was salty at the end..when should i use the rock salt..thx :)

  • @fouadoooz i think the rock salt you shuld sprinkle it with the seasame seeds in the last step before baking buns

  • булочки "фиг -вам" называются!

  • May I ask something? When do you have to get up to make these buns? Isn't is possible to make them in the evening and bake them in the morning?

  • @19485293 With most yeast breads, you can prepare them up t the step where the bread/rolls have been shaped and are ready to rise. Then you can put them in the fridge, covered with plastic, and they will rise overnight slowly. You need to take them out of the fridge at least an hour (for rolls, more for bread) before you are ready to bake them.

  • @megamuslim90 It's just parchment. You can use a brown paper bag, cut open and get the same results. :)
