The Sheeple are like Frankenstein, need to shock them into waking up. This is more shocking than the media which they are brainwashed by. SHOCK! THEM. WAKE THEM UP.
Great vid! LOL... and I just arrived in Kansas City today to find this vid in my inbox! Wish I could come visit ya'll, but here with the boss on business. Sooo.... Keep up the excellent work!
Kids in afrika diying cause of hunger we america dosnt care.
cant buy a new car in america lets protest!
thats america
lets go cry that someone else has it better by going to yell to other people, you better search for jobs even if you dont find one the first 20 times..
Awesome job!!!!! Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. This is how it should be the protest inside the heart of the monster. Though there are a lot more people that agree.
Philosoraptor wonders...if OWS is supposed to be looking out for the poor, why do they complain when companies like Walmart offer jobs to desperately poor people in other countries instead of the much better off people in this country?
@11dorisa because of slavery, human rights! You know how these people work in other countries? How many days, hours, their working conditions? You don't know that alot of chinese people committed suicide in the past years because of the very poor work conditions. They were jumping out the windows and still they commit suicide today! They have no vacations ever!
@DesertRose0829 Walmart isn't forcing them to take those jobs. If Walmart didn't exist, they wouldn't be able to work any hours at all, because they'd be dead of starvation. The Chinese government wouldn't bat an eye. Protest their poverty, fine, but don't protest Walmart, because their poverty isn't Walmat's fault. They were poor and desperate long before Walmart. WM's simply making them less poor by giving them an offer - not a command - to work. And we get lower prices because of it. Win-win.
@looiedl So what? The occupy movement is supposedly an international group, right? Supposedly people all over the world uniting for better livelihoods for everyone. Well, Walmart gives better livelihoods to people in China who otherwise would be starving, without any hope of a job, trying to plow their backyards for rice farming with grandpa's femur. Makes our unemployed"poor" who complain about it seem kinda spoiled, doesn't it? Just as businesses should have to compete, workers should too.
They're entitled to their opinion, and I'm entitled to mine. I think Walmart is a wonderful company that makes life better for millions of people by offering jobs to people who otherwise would have none and products at a cheap price to people who otherwise couldn't afford them. And I see no shame in buying gifts for your families and loved ones as part of the holidays, no matter where you buy them. I also know much of the american people agree with me, and they shouldn't feel guilty for it.
@11dorisa Interesting point. I personally think we should be concentrating on the banks and other companies that are paying their top executives excessive bonuses, sometimes hundred of millions, for gambling and ruining peoples' lives. However, the movement has many people with differing views. It is not about one individual or any group. It is about the whole movement. There are a lot of wrongs to be righted. The banks are the core problem, but places like Walmart may need to change also.
@OccupyLink I disagree that the banks are the core problem. Banks can only gamble with money that other people have voluntarily given them to gamble with. Governments, meanwhile, can and do gamble with money that they take by force from their citizens. Government is the core problem.
@11dorisa Oh walmart is beautiful alright! Yeah, see something, say something, cameras inside and in the parking. the cops brutalize customers. JANET NAPOLITANO, HOMELAND SECURITY SUCK! I never shop at walmart! Not because I'm rich because I support local. You are 28 and you probably still live with your parents. You don't give a hoop about the working american families. Walmart belongs to the elite and walmart is richer than POLAND! WAKE THE FUCK UP!! SUPPORT LOCAL! JANET NAPOLITANO SUCKS.
@DesertRose0829 I am 18, not 28, and I live at Johns Hopkins University. My profile is off by 10 years because I wanted to get a youtube before i was age elligible. "supporting local" is not in any way a nobler cause than supporting international, especially when local folks have more money than international folks. And Janet Napolitano has absolutely nothing to do with this. you're demonstrating your lack of knowledge about the issue.
Beautiful. Everybody doesn't understand, but they will understand what OWS is really about when it starts affecting their children. That's when the blind will see.
People who do not read and watch only main stream media do not realize the damage corporations like WalMart inflicts upon our communities and our nation as a whole. Boycott. HELL YEAH.
Nice! Evidently, security was unprepared and didn't exactly know what to do. It's great that you guys got to say everything you wanted without getting kicked out!
