Oh, so happy I'm not the only one that caught hell on the dragon then, xD! I finally had to hand the controller over to my younger brother...and from there, he just beat the rest of the game for me. I had to watch KH clips to brush up on all that I'd missed, xD
I loved the mention of the lack of sensibilities about the raft too, xD! And yes, just how the heck did their parents cope with losing their children for...hell, in Riku and Sora's case, two years now!
I've always found that if you use a TON of magic on the big dragon it'll kill her FAST!! just make sure you stock up on mega elixers to keep your magic up and you can just use cure when you need health :D thats what i did and I was astounded w/ the results (also hop on her back and stay on the edges on the arena to avoid most of her attacks)

When it turns blue, use blizzard, when it turns red, use fire, and when it turns yellow, use thunder. Eventually it will turn white and you can attack Ursula directly. Let Donald and Goofy take care of the eels.

@SorasShadow1 hehe, yeah i had a rough time beating him to. its a lobg time ago, but as far as i remember, the best tactic is to wait for him to attack (it can be seen in his movements when and how he attacks, i think. if not, then there is some other way to foresee his attacks.) then block and counter attack, and then get the hell away!! when he starts teleporting, glide towards a wall (at a certain place that attack wont be able to hit you. just make sure youre there.) tinkerbell is also good.

@SorasShadow1 The second time you face her, stock hi potions, ethers, and elixirs (no potions, because by this point they don't heal much). You'll have to have Ariel with you, so make sure she has her healing ability equipped. If you take Goofy, equip the MP Gift ability. If you take Donald, customize him so that he is perfoming regular attacks frequently, offensive magic occasionally, defensive magic constantly, and advanced magic frequently. He'll heal you more often this way.
@SorasShadow1 Oh, and customize Sora so that he has the Aero ability in his quick cast menu, and use it often. Regular magic attacks aren't really worth it the second time you face her. Attacking her from behind can be helpful. Hope this helps!

Easy way to beat the dragon. Jump on a thorn, and let your party members do the work (I recomend Beast and Goofy). It will take a while, but it works. Awsome video!

XD *dies* That was so great....and the dragon fight was easy. The hardest damn fight EVER was the fucking one with Riku right before he came out of his possesion and stoped Ansem...I got killed so many times! and then I actually beat it...AND MY PS2 GOT UNPLUGGED BEFORE I COULD SAVE.
So yeah, more agrivating hours put into that one fight.
The HB boss fights SUCKED. First Dragon-y Maleficent, then you go almost straight to insane-o Riku who thrashes you up and down that stupid circle platform thing...

I just remembered something...
When the Heartless are attacking the island, Sora shows up, looks down into the water and says, "There's Riku and Kairi's boats." Or something like that.
Why would they build a raft if they all have boats?!?

xDDD Oh yes, I remember all of those now... Seriously, that raft. When the game first came out and I saw that, I still went "what? No. You can't get anywhere on a raft. Unless it's back to the main island."
Also... considering the amount of time it would've taken for that bottle with the note in it from the second game to get from Destiny Islands to the dark beach... I think they'd have died.

XD *dies* That was so great....and the dragon fight was easy. The hardest damn fight EVER was the fucking one with Riku right before he came out of his possesion and stoped Ansem...I got killed so many times! and then I actually beat it...AND MY PS2 GOT UNPLUGGED BEFORE I COULD SAVE.
So yeah, more agrivating hours put into that one fight.

I liked the bits about the raft and the mushrooms, and about Riku's encounters with strangers xD That was partly why I didn't really like Riku in KH1, because I was mostly going "wth? :/" because he kept doing weird evil stuff. It makes you wonder like do they have parents???? All you hear of their parents is 1:16 and when Sora's mom calls him down to dinner. In fan fictions alot of people just make Riku an orphan. It makes you wonder did like his parents die or something while he was out saving their world?? It's very sad. Riku just has a really fucked up life since the whole keyblade thing started.
