  • You do realize that by performing the movement in the video with an arching motion that this utilizes full lat activation. One of the primary movements of the lat is shoulder extension and by having the moment arm completely perpendicular to the force vector (aka dumbbell) this creates the most torque at the shoulder joint. Raising the dumbbell any higher puts emphasis on the elbow joint which reduces torque at the shoulder joint making the exercise easier, which thus reduces lat activation.

  • Rotate the torso to completely work the back muscles and utilize a full range of motion. This is the novice I-went-to-a-two-week-course-now-I-am-a-professional video.

  • @godchildzor Hmm...So what you are saying is to rotate the torso & ruin neutral back alignment? Very sound advice....

  • @jdjprimer19 Yes, that is how to best execute the movement in order to gain full ROM and thus growth. I think you have misunderstood the concept of "natural back alignment" as you call it.

  • Maaan! that was the best way of illustrating an exercise!

Where can I buy the entire collection?
