Winter in Missoula

i like missoula! exept for...the dogs that bark outside ur door for 3 days straight until the owner brings them in...the winters... when ur grandmas movein just to see the winters... the ppl that sing dumb and retarded songs...dumb ppl that live in montana(not the smart ppl) ...the faggot 10yr old that punched me today!...the hard insain slopes... the ppl that do dumb stuff on bicicles like ride thim down hills with ice!...!!!!1!!!!!...do i have to say more?

Me too, Missoula was the home of my 'bringin up' years. ('64-'70) I miss not only the scenery but the people, friendly and welcoming. Who said "you can never go home"?

I went back on my motorcycle in '85, went back to Colonial Lane, and we were the only family that moved! Stopped by Stockman's and after having a beer mentioned how much I missed my hometown, thereafter between the bartender and the guy next to me, I couldn't buy another beer!

The song is from the album Amelie from Montmartre (soundtrack for a French movie) by Yann Tiersen...I would try to tell you the name of the actual song on the album, but I can't speak French! I can tell you it is the first song on the album, though...this is exactly how I came across the lovely song...asking someone as you have...

Having been raised in northern california, in San Francisco, and now attending UM, I can guerantee you that Missoula is at least 8 times sunnier than San Francisco per year... so much for 'sunny' california...

missoula is beautiful, i was so excited when my parents decided to move here from arizona, the winters are beautiful, i had my first white christmas this year, i loved it, and the summer are wonderful, you can do so much in one day, its amazing, i love the vid it made me smile, im sending the link to all my friends. they need to know how beautiful it is here

i love this place. i love the grey days. i love the snow, the cold, and the fog. and i especially love the grey.

LockeH27: Thanks for the hug. Sorry, but my personal experience in Missoula has been that it is cold, depressing and grey for too many months of the year. I now live in a big city and love the pulsing energy and warm weather. Missoula was just too slow and too cold for me. Best Wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving!

that was the best single snowfall we had this year. the rest of the winter sucked when it came to the amount of snow. and you know what!? i love where i live and winter is the shit! and i like being a polar bear! bitch!
