Good luck on the project guys. Is there a lot of parts commonality with the Padmini (I'm guessing y'all are in India, I apologize if I'm presuming too much)?
@39Chevy My dad had a Padmini....and yes, the part commonality is brilliant. Ours had brake fluid reservoir out of a Mahindra Jeep, a Luna drive belt as the fan belt and radiator hose pipes out of a Maruti 800 and an Ambassador :D. Even the oil filter was for another car, although I don't remember which
So did it need a new clutch?. It seemed like it was slipping when the dude put it into gear and moved off.

As far as I remember, it didnt need one immediately....got a new one a few months later.
