  • its funny how these radial cars are going just as fast as the 10.5 cars...even trapping faster speeds. lynch tho has never been that great in the 1/8th. but still, wolfe, fiscus, major, puddin are on fire.

  • I run mid 4.50's on the 8th with a 182ci fully water cooled street engine on petrol, the motor is worth around usd30k.

  • If I gotta ask, It's because people gotta find a place to start savin, and i'm just talking like a 5.40-5.50 big block. No turbo's all motor.

  • I wonder how much longer it will be till we see a radial car in the 20's

  • @Wopadas lol, not long. I'm subscribed to Proline Racing Engines channel, and they have a video posted of a Radial Mustang (with one of their motors in it) going 4.33 at 189mph. Won't be long now. lol

  • @bcbbcb1 When I saw that Kevin Fiscus went 4.33 I would have bet money Wolfe would go into the 20s, I think before the year is over there will be a car in the 20s.

  • about how much would a mid 5 second 1/8th engine cost?

  • @h00dm4ul4 If you gotta ask, you can't afford it. Not cheap.

  • @h00dm4ul4 Engine is 68K, 2.5k for spares, you could add another 10k for turbos intercoolers and shit. 25k tranny "lease", etc etc.

  • @h00dm4ul4 It depends on how heavy your car is. If you have a Dragster aka, a Rail Car, you can go Mid- 5's for super cheap (around 5 to 10 grand) cause the cars are so light. But if you want a door slammer car to go mid 5's, you gotta pump out a lil bit more money cause they are heavier and require more Horsepower to go fast. But you could get a door car in the mid 5's for around 15 to 20 grand, depending on how nice your stuff is.
