i don't know anything about longboarding, or hamboarding i guess, but why the hell does everyone dance and do stupid footwork while cruising around?

@generalsam122 as I understand it, the very start of skateboarding was surfers in the 50's who would take the wheels off their sisters rollerskates, nail them to a piece of wood and ride them like a surfboard when the waves were flat. That original surfing style from that era was hanging ten, cross stepping, drop knee turns - the footwork and the dancing you refer to - is the classic surf style/original skateboarding vibe.

I've ridden the Dancer, and know the guys from Loaded. They make a great board, but I'm pretty sure they were aiming at designing a different type of board from ours. Have you ridden a Hamboard? Let us know if you are ever in Huntington...

Ya...its a bummer that it costs so much to make a high quality handmade product. We've looked at cutting corners, but we are never happy with the results. When we ship them to Germany and Switzerland and they respond with "we were surprised with the craftsmanship, function and performance from an American product" - we know we are doing something right. I hope someday you can get one.
