@kayleeme102 MK is a lot like Street Fighter in the sense it is a fighter. It isn't the same in terms of gameplay. Street Fighter 2 onwards is very geared towards skill, where if you play against an opponent, you have to time your blocks and attacks and use wisely. Mortal Kombat is mainly about ripping your opponent's spine out, but it does try to be a balanced fighter.

Not that I mind, I just want to see blood, guts, and lots of people on fire!

@1MTH38055 this is an earlier trailer of the game and the developer just used recycle footages of the SNES and Genesis version to advertise the DS game. The actual DS edition was based on the arcade version of the game and not the home versions.

It doesn't suck at all, the DS version is actually an arcade emulated port. This trailer is just a teaser, and you'll also notice it shows the SNES version LOL!
