Great tut, I learned a lot from it. But I recommend 1 thing though, but it is a matter of taste.

I would put the text in front of the shadow, so the mask will not aflict the text.

In my oppinion, that looks better.

Try it out sometimes.

I hate flash on CS4. I cant get the damn words to dissapear. I made it into a graphic created the motion tween but still. The alpha does not affect the letters. Can anyone help. My University sux horribly at teaching this.

or you could just drag from the upper part when selected and just drag it down, it will just flip

You know you could just do modify/transform/flip horizontal
