The problem is that it's almost exactly like the original, so naturally people will compare it note-for-note (e.g. all the guitar solo comments.) It's a decent performance, but what's strange/disappointing is that they didn't put the "Flo" spin on it.

Not a very good cover. One of my favourite Stevie Nicks era FM songs, this didn't quite do it justice. Still, much rather the original Fleetwood Mac, it's founder, Peter Green, was truly one of the best Rhythm & Blues guitarists in Britain during the sixties.

@squeekyfeetzlondon See the problem is, your so in love with original, that no matter what artist covered it and how they did it you would not be pleased because the original is just that fucking awsome to you. Plz don't get mad, i'm honestly not trying to be a dick here. I do the same thing, when I love a song so much and someone else covers it, I just almost never like it. And one more thing: Florence has SOUL!!! I can't beleive you say that with all the shitty artists out there nowadays....

@squeekyfeetzlondon Also just wanted to say, I think your right the original is way better, but honestly, You've got the Love she did a fucking brilliant job with. I think it totally over shadows the orignal, i just don't get that same feeling from the original, it's so dull and lifeless, not the singing, but everything else, it's just so bland and dry. But again, just personal tastes.

@BlackPhenix69 I know it's personal taste but I don't understand how you could think this overshadows the original at all. This was good, and i give her huge props for liking the material enough to cover it, but Lindsey Buckingham has an amazing voice that she just can't match and he always sings with such passion. Check out Big Love or Go Insane if you doubt. And the harmonies between FM are incredible. This it a bad cover, don't agree that she mangled it, but it doesn't match the original.

i was like: wooooow florence and the machine covering the chain AMAZINGGGGGG!! and then i pressed play....... what a bad cover.... im a fan of both bands but this is a very bad cover, i thought at least the guitar solo would save it, but no.... it did not. i was soo excited, what an anticlimax! surely im not the only florence fan that thinks this is terrible!

it was amazing to hear her sing it. I love Mac and i thought she did this v. well, when the bass came in me an some lass next to me just went nuts dancing everywhere :D much love to you miss blondie where-ever you are. One of my biggest highlights of 2010 Glastonbury.
