Love everything about Jesse and MaxFun, but never go against the grain if you have curly hair! Ingrown hairs are the worst, and in the oddly named "Ethnic Haircare" section scrambling for remedies
Great job guys, I really love the series and the work you put in.I have been bitchin to my friends for years about dressing up like a grown up. A note on wet shaving, again been doing this for over 20 years, shaving across the grain ids a big no no for thick, curly haired beards. Pseudofolliculitis Barbae is a pain for us ethnic dudes.
For Us: Use a facial scrub before shaving. Avoid repeating strokes. Always shave with downward strokes in the direction of beard growth. #Aloha
I have really sensitive skin with some acne. What safety razor + blade combo do you recommend? I've heard that I should avoid the really sharp blades when starting out.
Yeah, that lather looks kinda dry. Use a little more water. Also, an alum block rinsed in cold water acts helps clean and reduce irritation. @nickmooreimages - get a sample pack that includes Merkur blades. Feather blades are really sharp, so put those off to the side as you're beginning.
Youtube seems to bring out the most cold hearted commenters for some reason. Anyway great job on this episode I love the format of the show; part practical advice and part anecdotes from interesting people. Although I've tried to apply what I've learned to my own life its a little heard when your dressing on a shoe string budget, hopefully some day you can cover dressing well on the cheap?
Love that you make this and I enjoy the podcasts, too, but at the beginning of this video, when I saw your cherubic, dandy self all dolled up with the fancy necktie and whatnot (is that stripe from the Fauntleroy regiment?), it was all I could do to not punch yer goddamned puss through the fucking laptop screen.
@Creamy360 Perchance. But since this crazy good content is free, the advertisement has to come from some place, yes? And since I don't think Arm & Hammer or Oxi Clean paid a dime for having Jesse vouch for them, I say - woot!
What's the beat from in the credits?

@martyyu he always dresses that way for the sound of young america...so it's really nothing new.

the graphic tee bit was full cringe material.
also, jesse, buddy, with all due respect it's time to take those shaving tips to the top of your head... give up the ghost.

@flamestillburns Yes. That's very respectful. I appreciate the respect with which you offered that comment.

You lost me at the graphic shirt bit. Would Put This On start recommending graphic Ts?
glocksout 1 year ago 2
advertising graphic t-shirts? I thought that segment was making a point about how bad they are. That's what it should have been.
