@POKEMONF2000 i had 2 huskies in my life. my male husky named rocky lived to be 17 years old, 1974-1991.my female husky named miko lived 15 years, 1993- 2008'. they were both awesome dogs and i miss them botyh. i wish you well with your new husky pup, they are a lot of work. but what they give you in return is well worth it.

I work for the RSPCA and finding good homes for Huskies is the hardest thing - they need LONG, LONG walks - a husky can run 30 miles in one go, and they are terrible escapologists, so you need to have a secure yard and garden. And they can get very jealous of other dogs and humans. Best owned by single cross country runners!

to KMMPlanet: They get quite big..about 23 inches or so and the price can vary. I have seen them for $300, $400, $700 and even higher. If your going to get one please buy from a responsible, caring breeder ;) The ones on this video look very healthy, adorable and loved! :D

That's a really good deal. But, before you consider buying one I really suggest researching this breed. Alot of people get them because they are so darn cute,but what they fail to realize is that they are in fact ALOT of work. They shed all year long and blow their coat twice a year and it can get pretty messy. They are also escape artists and very stubborn if they don't see a point in doing what they are told. But I love them hence I have three.

I got my first one from a lady who works on the A.F base we live on. The second and third puppies came from two different breeders. My advice is to either rescue one or find a reputable breeder. Make sure you talk to the breeder's vet to verify if they take care of their dogs. It's also nice to find one that gives a health guarantee on their puppies. And you're right NO PET SHOPS.

I would find a good breeder.If you really want one for a good price it is very possible but you may have to do a lot of searching.I found my husky $400 from a breeder in South Dakota.The breeder you buy the dog from should be very interested in making sure you will provide a good home and ask you many questions before even considering to sell you a dog.Also they should guarantee the dog will have no generic health issues.They should be willing to take the dog back if you cannot care for it.

My personal favourites are huskies and pugs. They are wonderful as puppies, and with proper care, will turn out to be great companions too. Pugs just look silly, and huskies are loyal.

Husky. They are very friendly, loving, and loyal. Trust me. My uncle has a Husky and my aunt has a german shepherd and the german shepherd tends to get violent. And my friend's dog has german shepherd in it and when she plays she sometimes gets a little violent but she's the bestest puppy ever. Everyone wuvs her. But yea German shepherds get violent when they play. Not good with little children.
