  • Grandma sings pretty well :)

  • Most female Japanese singers got a attractive voice,,, but her voice is terrible !!

  • I love when they join hands at the end. Despite it's only two hands. I hope someday Korea and all of Japan will hold hands and put the past behind each other.

  • Maybe some of you should appericate the fact that it's like Korea and Japan have come together again and let all the bad history they've had together in the past go. Of course it's not really the case but that's the feeling I get from them singing together.

  • great voice .

  • You can see shin Seung Hun passionate facial expression when Moriyama Ryoko is singing by herself. It's amazing, such talent. :D

  • Even though i don't understand the lyrics. It felt something to me. =)

  • her voice is just not suitable for this song.

  • Did you guys notice that Shin was sing japanese also? Not korean?

  • Shin Seung Hun sounds soooo great in korean and japanese but this lady sounds like she's wailing while shin seung hun is singing....

  • I like this version because I think the Moriyama is giving a more upfront and stronger quality to the song, while Shin Seung gives a more gentle warmth. This contrast is quite interesting, plus she's helping him by appealing to a Japanese audience. :)

  • lovely colabolation. thank you for sharing. :-)

  • How come he sang w/ such a old lady..?

Im sure it was bad choice

  • Overall i think their performance is ok n good.it just people would prefer SSN to duet with someone much younger... and yes that ossan is over feeling...

  • @JuniorMyName opps sory i mean the lady...not :ossan"... Sorry my bad....

  • that woman is horrible horrible singer

  • This song is beautiful!! ...and It`s a lovely performance of this song

  • hey the woman isnt that bad

    everyones like "OMG she sucks"

but this perf was good except they should lower volume of background a little

  • she sings horrible and the tone that she uses is not like the song .....

  • The backup instruments drowned out the singers. Too fast and too loud. The song sounds better slow. Also the clash of the Japanese and Korean languages doesn't help either. This was a good cultural exchange op more than anything else.

  • hayzz it reminds me of someone..

  • @wewekakui could it be the movie my sassy girl??

  • jesus christ the lady's voice is so excrutiating to listen to, especially after hearing the guy's smooth and soulful version of the song right after.

  • The woman is a hardcore professional singer...i'm a fan!

  • The softest voice here on earth...love this lady singer...very much a pro

  • finally i found this song!

  • her son is Moriyama naotarou.he has famouse song [Sakura]. Tvxq sang it and Junsu sang it at fan meeting here .

    090121 Junsu singing Sakura [Fancam]

  • frankly i dont see a problem with moriyama-san's singing. sometimes i wonder its if age discrimination or race? Instead of criticising, we should respect everyone's singing. its definitely not easy to be able to sing such songs? wonder if those people that criticise can sing half as good moriyama-san... maybe even the first few phrases and dynamics and vibrato can be impossible let alone the whole song....

  • 저 여자는 뭐지. 일본인은 실눈 빼고는 다 눈 큰거 아니었어?

  • she has a wonderfull emotional voice, with a rich natural vibrato. It is, perhaps, an aquired taste and maybe some people wouldnt immediately enjoy listening to a voice like hers. But if you understand the lyrics you realise how apropriate her voice is for the mood of the song. Still what soul can sing a live duet with SSH and come out on top. His voice is like an angels.

  • girl? 60 years old girl?

  • shin seung hun has the best voice in the world period!

  • Comment removed

  • excelente cancion y musicos.....

  • What's with the intro to the song? I felt it was completely out. There was no hint of what song was going to be sung. The lady seems to be straining to sing. Don't like her singing.

  • I don't see why people say the old lady is bad. The Japanese lyrics don't flow as well as the Korea ones but they are beautiful in their own respect. The only thing I didn't like was the instrumentals.

  • great=)

  • chinese version by ip man fai(barry)

  • Shin looks slightly agitated by her botching up the emotional flow of his song, LOL

  • 허걱... 신승훈이 커보인다..

  • 와... 이거 읽다 목 막혔음...

  • filipino version by jimmy bondoc.. :)

  • Dont care about ugly filips

  • the old lady ruined the whole song

  • Legendary.

    & Shin Seung-hun has a sexy voice. C:

  • wow this song is really a "BIG HIT", i really really love this song, i usually listen to it like 3 to 6 times a day... 'whooooooo' waha!

  • Beautiful

  • nice, but nicer if only Shin Seung Hun sings, hehe. Anyway, anyone can provide me with the Japanese lyric of this song. Thanks in advance

  • the song, was it composed by Shin Seung-hun?

  • No, it was composed by a famous songwriter named Hyungsuk Kim. He wrote tons of other hits. That doesn't say that Shin Seunghoon can't compose, he wrote many songs himself, and is quite excellent in it.

  • i love this song! he's good! thnx for sharing

  • LOL .... dwong178 u stupid?

    KOREAN POEPLE from KOREA !!!

Korean culture is différent of China....

    한국 생활에 대한 ^__^

    한국 독립 !!!!

  • excuse me? o.0

  • Didn´t understand a word but the song is very good

  • sorry, my friend posted that with my account

  • simmination idiot.. Go away..

  • dat women is ruining da song..

  • @99help yes a little bit

  • @99help i tink its just the jap style of singing.. the girl was harmonising well actually

  • how can she be japanese and a nigga? by saying that you are only making yourself seem stupid!

  • they are both good.. it was not bad.. ^^

  • I like song and BEST KOREAN MOVIE !!!!

" My SASSY GIRL " ps: i suck american remake... :-(

  • Who the hell is she? She sucks.

  • the guy is the original singer of this song... give some respect

  • since when was this songs chorus supposed to be based on power?

  • please show some repect to others and yourself...don't make yourself look stupid

  • this is a reply for JukaKorea, sorry for leaving the comment on a wrong place :P

  • lol just wanna ask you how many countries have you been to, to write something so ignorant..

  • if you are korean then i have something to say to you... koreans are descendants of chinese! and so are japanese, thai's, vietnamese, and many other! so dont make your self look stupid!

  • koreans are from china and mongol

japan is from korea from baekjae, china and thai

  • @JukaKorea WTF?

  • you fucking idiot, by that logic you're also descendant of the africans so shut up. it's not what people used to be that is important, its what they are now. if you were an accurate representation of what chinese people were like, I'm so glad that the korean and japanese left that country. But thankfully i have tons of chinese friends who are nowhere as retarded as you and don't bring up this dumb-as-shit argument because they're actually educated.

  • I hope you're not 29 like your youtube page says. Because only a child can make such an ignorant comment. Koreans and Japanese are genetically, and linguistically related more with Mongolians than the Chinese. The cultural similarity that the Japanese and the Koreans have with the Chinese is a result from sinicization.

  • What is "sinicization" ??

  • The process of "becoming Chinese" culturally and/or linguistically.

  • @dwong178 I'm Korean and all I have to say is "what?"

  • thats ridiculous. this song is supposed to be a song of hope and waiting, not a song of power...shin seung hoon trumps any of those imitation chinese singers...

  • 신승훈 오빠...넘 멋있다~

  • wooh.. i love all the versions of this song.... ^^

  • I'm korean and this song really is beautiful and sad, too. I love shin seung hun's voice.

  • OTL

  • i don mean to be rude but she kinda ruined this song!

  • i agree

  • Same.

  • (:D

  • I kinda disagree. Just different style, doesn't mean she ruins it. Not for general public, I guess.

  • well, ppl hav different opinion but i believe that majority of ppl think so

  • Agreed. I'd say she's find as a singer...but I don't think they picked the right style for this duet.

  • thats what i've been saying

  • she sings her more traditional songs beautifully, but yeah bad combo.

  • i'm a filipino and i dnt understand any word they both sang. that's the beauty of music i guess. you dnt really need to know the words to understand and feel what the singer is trying to say. i love this song. one of my favourites. beautiful collaboration.

  • The guy standing beside her is Sin Seung Hoon, a Korean singer who also wrote this book. A lady is well-known Japanese singer who is singing his song in Japanese show.

  • she is old. give her a break. She is a Japanese legend. She sang Yuki no Hana with Mika Nakashima and it made me cry. She's awesome.

  • nice

  • nice

  • Ack, I have to say, I don't really think Shin picked the right person to sing this song. Gosh, why couldn't it be someone like Mika Nakashima or someone, anyone who uses less vibration technique?.. I've been madly in love with him ever since he debuted when I was in elementary school like 15+ years ago.

  • beautiful and wonderful!! saikou desu!!

  • Beautiful. Just Beautiful!

  • what happned? my favorite song went japanese.. not IN a good way either.. she ruined eveything!! bi88**

  • Wow he was singing to the Japanese part as well. Amazing guy. Always felt hard to learn both Jap and Korean. Btw, great performance and thanks kballad!

  • I love the japanese version of this song... Perhaps because I can actually understand it myself. ^^; Does anyone happen to have an MP3 of his japanese version?

  • Is it just me? Moriyama Ryoko kinda ruined this duet. Her voice leaves something to be desired. Shin Seung Hun should have sung this song by himself. He has a wonderful voice.

  • I actually rather like her voice, but it may not be the best suited for this type of song. IIRC, she's more of a folk singer.

I think she sounds better in Nada Sou Sou, but of course that's 'her' song and this is 'his' so they're better in their own element.

  • Oh, and I meant to totally agree with you about his voice. :) He's one of my absolute favorits. He can sing almost anything and it sounds great.

  • @mintaco no Moriyama Ryoko didn't ruin the song, if she did ruin the song, then she wasn't there to sing and duet with Shin Seung Hun. But of course, it is better if another singer was given the chance to sing this song.

  • @mintaco Guess they wanted to bring Korea and Japan together. :)

  • wow! thanks for uploading this. i really love this song and the movie as well. hearing other version was cool too! :)

  • Sure, I'll enable embedding for you :)
