I do believe that when people immigrate to a country that they should accept the basic values of their host. I do believe that when people immigrate to a country that they should accept the basic values of their host. If a few dozen extremists want to impose Sharia law on everyone else they should move back to the Muslim countries that they escaped from. By basic values I mean that a person's personal faith is a strictly personal matter, that religious diversity is acceptable,that women have the same rights as men. The history and cultures of Islam is fascinating..I suggest you look into it. Peace.

I believe that most ppl ,irrespective of their faith, are basically good. Extremism exists in every faith and it's unnecessary to list all the many crimes done in the name of 'religion'. I agree with you that Islam has not undergone the same transition as the West re; the practice of secular 'democracy' or believe in science and that this has relegated much of the modern Muslim world to the backwaters. However, to portray all Muslims as 'terrorists' is just hateful and achieves nothing.

Birth defects are mostly caused by malnutrition and unhealthy mothers hence most birth defects and retardation are found in third world countries.
