@artwritesyou Thanks bud. Yeah, I play in a few cover bands, give lessons and do session work whenever the opportunity arises. I also do some studio tech stuff if people need it, although I rarely have full blown album production all to myself. People will come to me for demo CDs or mixing etc. I haven't made a video in ages, but I have recorded a whole load of random original stuff and cover stuff.

I wanted to cover both Abandoned pools albums...haha I have a lot of meticulous listening to do!

To collab, one of us would come up with a song idea, and we send stuff back and forth through emails and end up with a nice song :) If you send me some basic guitar tracks and vocal tracks, I can add bass, harmonies and stuff :) Basically we can evolve basic ideas together over time in to an awesome song.

I've always been a big fan of Abandoned Pools and I never usually listen to someones cover. I just randomly clicked to hear what this was all about and I must say that I was truly astonished. I thought it was going to be a huge mistake. But it's amazing. I've heard them live and I actually like this version better. Good job.

really well done. its bitter sweet that abandoned pools was never really mainstream before. i love it not playing on the radio every 5 minutes cuz it feels like it's just mine and only i know about it :) but you can't find their stuff anywhere before the mainstream stuff came out (humanistic) which was daring and bold and i totally respect it

As I live in England, I didn't actually become aware of it until I saw it in the related videos section here on youtube ages ago when there were still AP vids on here.

It looks like a pretty groovy show, but I don't remember it ever being on over here in the UK.

Wow thanks! I used to play in various groups, but people went off to university and stuff and i just never got back into any groups. For ages I just sat playin guitar in my house until my girlfriend said I should put some videos up lol it's so inspiring having all this feedback!!

yeah, I know what you mean. My recent band is kind of just laying around, due to everyone going to different colleges for the most part.

It's like, I wish I could do everything myself, instead of having to rely on other people. But alas, I have a crapass voice, and I can't play drums. All I'm good for is bass and guitar.

Nice choice. TBH, you can't really go wrong with AP. The harmonies are performed by me. i record the song then add the vocal harmonies on with a computer. I do it on pretty much every song i record. just makes it a little more interesting i think :)
