  • Kam is so underated...

  • sooo shit keep it g funk

  • DEBONAIRMAN......I couldn't have said any of ur comments better. Everything u said is exactly right. Finally a man that knows his history and hip hop.

  • "where i come from... muhhfuccas dont be dressin like that". lol

  • Kam been slept on a long time he can carry his weight on any tracc wit anybody....Kam is the West like Rakim is to the East both were ahead of their time

  • @BIGMuscle18 Kam, The Rakim of the West Coast?? I love Kam but that is a hell of an exageration.

  • Hell yeah... Kam is hella nice on the mic, but not the Rakim of the West Coast... that honor goes to Ice Cube...

  • Yall is seriously trippin. Dont compare anyone to the God of hip hop. Rakim is in a class of his own.

  • @xHOODSTAx: You can't be serious. Kam has always been hotter than Cube on da mic. Cube's best joints ever were "Death Certificate" and "The Predator"..("Lethal Injection" barely slid by) and NOTHING on any of those albums were beyond Kam's level. Kam silenced Cube with his first diss joint, long before Cypress Hill and Common. Cube the 'Rakim' of the West Coast? LOL!! Ras Kass ALONE would spit circles around Cube, man.

  • @DEBONAIRMAN

    1) We wouldnt know who Kam was if it wasn't for Cube... Cube put Kam in the game...

    2) Kam is good, but far from a West Coast legend like Cube...

    3) How did Kam silence Cube? Cube never responded to "Whoop Whoop" (which was awesome), he was on to bigger and better things...

  • @DEBONAIRMAN

    4) The comment was "Kam is the West Coast Rakim", which he clearly is not... I said that Cube better fits that distinction... Ras Kass is a dope MC but has no appeal other than his lyrics, same goes for Kam... Cube comes with the whole package...

  • @DEBONAIRMAN

    5) Cypress Hill's so called dis joint was wack and failed to hit the mark, and they bit Cube and West Side Connection in the process... Cube killed B-Real...

  • @DEBONAIRMAN

    6) As for Common, I give him a little bit of credit for his dis attempt on Cube, he was waaay out of his league but still came strong... Cube never really responded, and the "beef" was squashed anyway...

  • @DEBONAIRMAN

    7) In addition to "Death Certificate", "The Predator" and "Lethal Injection" (all classic works of art that Kam could never touch and probably studied every sound of), you left out "Amerikkka's Most Wanted"... please don't front... you also forgot his amazing collabo works with West Side Connection, as well as NWA (speaks for its self)... what has Kam EVEr done that could ever top or even match these... Kam was good but there's really no contest lyrically or career wise...

  • @xHOODSTAx: Common "out of his league"? C'mon, dude. Ask yourself WHY Cube never responded to Common but had no problem responding to Cypress Hill. It may have been due to Cube realising that Common's lyricism surpassed him. You have made some valid points regarding Cypress Hill; Cube did kill them in that battle. Regarding Cube carrying the whole package (image etc) I agree with that as well, however, I am referring to lyrics primarily. Kam/Ras Kass..gonna have to agree to disagree there.

  • @DEBONAIRMAN

He responded to Cypress Hill as they are more on his level as far as West Coast etc, they are closer competition and more relevant... It took a meeting with Farrakhan to squash the Common beef, it was on the verge of getting outta control, and Cube agreed not to keep firing out of respect for the game, not because he was cared of Common's "lyrical skill"... cmon now... Common's lyricism is good and clever but also kinda corny and boring at the same time...

  • @xHOODSTAx: 1) When it comes to being the better emcee, it is not based on 'who put who on' in the game. Using your principle, would that make Eazy E better than Cube....just because Eazy put Cube on through NWA? LOL. Of course not! 2) By way of a combination of NWA and his solo career, undoubtedly, Cube is a West Coast legend; I never denied that. I simply said that he is NOT the 'Rakim' of the West Coast as there have been...and presently are...West Coast emcees that surpass Cube's level.

  • @DEBONAIRMAN

Not a good comparison with Eazy and Cube... Eazy was not even a rapper (really) and definitely not an emcee, that's why Cube and others wrote his lyrics... emcee-wise AND career-wise Cube put Kam on, Kam was influenced by Cube from day one... bottom line (IMO), Kam is faaar from the West Coast's Rakim, but maybe that's a bad way to analyze to begin with...

  • @xHOODSTAx i know its old...but of course Cube aint said shit..he aint stupid..especially after kam's homie big solo socked dude in traffic n took that W chain...Kam & his people wasnt playing...glad its over tho....but just sayin...lotta cubes former people had issues with Cube & his bullshit

  • @dondiego211 Kam is clearly not the West Coast Rakim... if Ice Cube is not (as you say), then who is?

  • @xHOODSTAx i dont know homie but rakim n cube dont even talk about the same shit all the time..but cube is up there on the west coast...not sayin kam is better than cube...but as a person, kam always been a down ass brutha...unlike the other dude who has fucked over numerous homies who had his back...but that doesnt stop me from liking cube...i bump more cube than kam

  • yeah bigmad sound like u think Kam jus kick gang shit, bangin on wax is more 4 la than kam any1 who likes that real can feel Kam
