  • oooooooooooo sayari

  • Mercedes Benz had this standard in 2000 with the introduction of the S600 and the M137 V12. The engine will also decouple the inlet and exhaust valves to ensure no pump loss. Yes it was expensive but it's a technology that has worked for so many other manufactures. Not to mention the distronic cruise control, keyless go, rain sensor, drive by wire, brake by wire, ABS, ESP that so many other car makes use now. Lots of firsts for M-B but you don't see them flaunting it on their ads....Just my .02$

  • Go to Gear Vendors and get the transmission adaptor they sell. Although I don'tknow if it applies to FWD.

  • haha, BMW had this long ago ... so did the Mercedes

  • @blacklord769 how much does a mercedes or a beamer cost? lol

  • mmmmm i thought i´ve seen it in a Mercedes.... like in 2007..... besides, the mangement system failure would be fatal. Imagine your V6 with half the power it should get....

  • My van's V6 gets better fuel economy by having me drive it instead of someone else... way cheaper to just be a better driver.

  • with vcm now you got a wear issue the cylinders generlay fireing wear faster than other cylinders not fireing mainley the connecting rod bearings at the crank

  • This is great...

But can anyone explain me if the cil are not working, how come they dont overheat??

  • @joseglv The coolant is still flowing around the engine while the engine in running, thus they don't overheat. In fact, the cylinders not running are less likely to overheat since they are not burning fuel in them.
