Now that I think about it, it seemed a little strange how in one episode, Mayor West finding a copy of the Garbage Pail Kids movie. Either Seth has the painful memory of seeing it or he saw the NC's review.
To be honest Bum told the joke better. He only had to say it once, while Family Guy practically had to shout it multiple times like a goldfish who'd just forgotten what they just said. Family Guy isn't clever enough to steal from Internet celebrities, but the resemblance is uncanny.
It could be pure coincidence... or one of the writers of Family Guy was too lazy to think of a more original joke and stumbled upon the Bum Star Trek Review.
Either way, I hate the show. (the newer episodes, not Seasons 1-3. The earlier seasons were decent.)

But if this were the case for something more obvious, then I don't think the copyright argument is valid. There's still Creative Commons, which a band called Crystal Castles has abused. They basically took an existing song and rearranged it, and made money from doing so. If you don't think that's stealing, then I can't convince you.

Some people watch a show about people getting drunk and yelling at each other. Some people watch shows about historical events or about the history of physics and astronomy.
Not saying that watching these shows automatically make you a smarter or dumber person BUT usually you can guess the kind of people who watch these shows. You CAN learn from some shows. There is such a thing as educational television.

There is Absolutely no Character Development, that are vital for any show.
What do you know about Chris for example?
The jokes have virtually no relevance to the plot and are only mildly amusing because they are random and not because they are well written.
South park is one of the most cleverly written shows on tv as it uses actual satire and jokes that are relevant to current issues.
Futurama and Simpsons are of course amazing.

just like in little britain, the characters' traits are hidden and not exploited, as if you were watching normal people. normal in terms of real.

I wont say for sure witch one is better, (although I find futurama more entertaining) but still people are entitle to their opinions... but don't you just hate it when someone just assumes that there opinions are facts? that seems to happen a lot in an argument, especially online.
