What about when you do ask your husband to help and he replies 'Yes' and then keeps stalling..? and it gets to a point where it now becomes a habit and confronting them with it doesn't help..what should a person do under such circumstances??
@fairdinkham What usually works well for me, especially with children, is setting up a timeframe. In other words make the request specific. For example, It's important to have this finished before company arrives at 8. Will you be able to get it done by then? Sometimes with kids I'll even say something like, I'll be able to drive you to your game just as soon as the dishwasher is unloaded. Let me know when you're ready to go. Hope that helps. :-)
