  • Is it me or is the dude giving the interview trying to sound rich?.. or something like that.

  • lol MUCH TIME AGO said the RT guy HAHAHAHAHA

  • wow roll the spliff? what dumbasses spliffs have tabacco and weed in em

  • @homestar9 So?

  • the anchor seems like a HUGE douche bag.

  • Interviewer had a chance to ask some really good questions and he didn't. Prohibition has failed. That's the bottom line. Another child was shot last week for having less than an ounce of Pot. It's time for sensible drug policies with regard to Marijuana. It's time to stop the madness.

Please vote yes on Prop 19. It's good law enforcement.

  • @abbazin102 Starting a new government from scratch is actually less effective than changing the one we have. The French tried that, and they ended up with Napoleon, the Russians tried it and ended up with Stalin. Overthrowing the system may feel good from a purely visceral perspective, but the reality is that without meticulous planning, such actions result in a power vacuum, which inevitably results in a dictatorship.

  • @abbazin102 Quoting Bob Marley songs and reality are two different things. Violently overthrowing one group of "rich killing rulers" is guarantees the success of a new set of "rich killing rulers." In a power vacuum, the one that ends up on top is seldom the nicest, or the most liberal.

  • @yerk3 Some time violence is needed and it may sound cruel, but when people who have no rite to torture you try to put you in a cage and get you killed, you have to atleast help yourself for what is rite or even the whole world. Resist if it is for a good cause and if they still try to attack you then defend yourself or else you will let people own you like a slave.

  • @abbazin102 I think you're misinterpreting what I'm saying here. I'm not against violent revolutions because they're "cruel," I'm against casual talk of violent revolution because it doesn't work. The reality never resembles people's romaticized imaginings, and it usually results in a regime with is worse than the original one. You're Russian, you should know this, this happened in your own country, your great-grandparents tried to overthrow the Czar, but ended up with Stalin.

  • @yerk3 shit they stole tanks and army weapons too haha, but funny stuf cuz it could have turned out to be better. The point is like people get afraid to do things that will do more good to the people as it will to them. If people realy cared about they're children and future genaration they would try to do it again, because when we buy in to fear and stop fighting, we are volunarable to corruption and look whats happened now days they are tryna take away our rites? Enslave the minds subliminally

  • @abbazin102 But violent revolution never changes any of this. All it does is change the face of power, without changing the mechanisms of power. Power shapes the powerful as well as those they rule over. Someone can ascend from the common classes and assume power, but if the mechanisms of power are the same, they will be just like their predecessors. Napoleon started out as a common foot soldier, Stalin as a humble monk, Mao as a fucking librarian.

  • @yerk3 then shit we gotta change tha way the worlds works or we are going to keep making the same mistake over and over and over till we all are dead one day. I hope we arn't the end to this beautifull Earth. It's Fucking greed, if we were all treated equal greed would be of the past, but the question is were did greed come from in the first place? impatience? Who knows... exept that the goverment is afraid to turn back to good people, because they know they won't be forgivin..

  • @abbazin102 The system can be changed, but it is a slow, hard process, like carving granite. A lot of the problems will not be solved in our lifetimes, but if we work tirelessly to achieve that end, our great-grandchildren will live in a better world. Social change is done on behalf of future generations, and if we don't fuck it up, they will be eternally grateful to us.

  • @yerk3 Yeah, and at least learn something from non munipulative honest people

  • russian guy.obviously works for shmirnoff and doesnt want marij legal cutting into his profits lol

  • @abbazin102 my comment or the guy?

  • What a dumb shit interviewer n/t.

  • Does anyone else browse you tube stoned

  • @GTASouthernFinest EVERYDAY!!!!! ha ha

  • @GTASouthernFinest Is that a serious question? I think everyone on here is stoned right now.

  • do high school kids run this station? talk about low budget!!!

  • RussiaToday isn't "russian" any more than FedEx is "federal." It's just the evil international bankers trying to manipulate Russia.

  • That problem could potentially be solved by legalization (not complete), but a regulated market with coffeeshops (like in Holland). Then again, the problems you mentioned would be perhaps even worse (the availability).

I guess there's is no crystalclear solution to this problem.

  • Drugs Are decadent and decomposing to society , and lead to social Decay ...

  • Some of the greatest minds in history used drugs in a responsible way.

  • thats just western propaganda and fabrications ...

its just what they tell you , so you can be a consumer minded person ....

thats what the western agenda preaches .. to the "good consumers" . :

"Go Drink , Get High , Have This .. Have That ... "

"everyone is doing it " "All the great minds "

"Your not cool if you dont ... etc . etc."

"Get Married ... buy ring ... go honey ,moon...

go to vegas ... spend , spend , spend ..."

buy our crap. work for it .

  • That is the biggest load of stereotypical bullshit I've ever read. Good luck with your life.

  • yeah .. whatever ...

  • Sure they did, but society as a whole needs to be protected against it. Most people can't handle drugs in a responsible way.

  • And you're from the Netherlands?! Legalization seems to work pretty good for you guys?

  • You put it right: it SEEMS to be working well here in the Netherlands. My personal experiences tell otherwise.

  • Yes - well, since I have no personal experience, I've never even been to the Netherlands, I can't really discuss this with you. ;) - What are your experiences?

I've heard from news sources etc. - that the netherland's crimerate is very low, and the number of drugrelated suicides (for example) is also

    very low. True or not?

  • My experience is the easy availability of marijhuana. That's an important point because youngsters living in urban areas have only to snap their fingers to get acces to it. I was lucky enough to be raised by parents who taught me responsibility, but youngsters who don't know that word cannot be reasonable exposed to marijhuana.

  • About the crimerate: it's certainly not low in urban areas! Rather high.

Regarding your second point I can tell you there are lots of drugs related problems with young adults in the north-western province of North-Holland. Softdrugs and overconsumption of alcohol are causing lots of troubles there.

My views on the Dutch softdrugs policy? Simple: make it less easy available and hopefully parents will do the rest by raising their consciousness about the dangers.

  • Finally I'd like to say there are upcoming voices in the public opinion proposing to introduce a membership card for the coffeeshops were the stuff can be bought. This means youngsters will need to get a membershipcard before they're able to buy anothing there. Which sounds like a good idea to me.

  • Okay, I guess the media doesn't really cover the troubled areas. That's really sad, I had no idea things were that bad - Responsible parents are hard to find these days, sadly - That's probably also the biggest problem here in Denmark, where I live.

Another problem here, is that since softdrugs are highly illegal, the kids who smoke get their marijuana from criminals (dealers/pushers), thereby getting involved with other sorts of crime.

  • Membership sounds like an excellent idea.

Wonder why they haven't come up with that one before ;)

Anyways, I hope they'll manage to solve the problems down there, so the rest of the world can learn from what you're doing, and maybe adopt your system. I really admire your country's ways of solving things.. I'm gonna move down there some day, haha ;) Cheers.

  • Thank you. you should defenitely come and visit us sometimes! :)

drugs are tools you can experiment with, and in holland we experimented with the legalizattion of drugs. i think it would be a good idea for each country wrestling with these issues to observe how it's working in our country.

greetings to denmark, the land of couragious cartoonists. ;)

  • Yes they do. But marijuana is a plant that has been made a "drug" by the government. I advise anyone who still thinks marijuana is bad to watch the movies "Grass" and especially "The Union"

  • those comersials .... i dont like whatching comersials ,.,...

its brain numbing ... as the drug itself ...

  • I totally agree, legalizing marijhuana is not the way to go.

  • why does that reporter talk like a douche?

  • hahaha mariwuana

  • Hey, how come that NO ONE even considered the Enron link that led to the budget crisis? >_>

  • Great closing line: "According to the government propoganda, I couldn't exist."

  • nice report guys

  • yeah and then we'd be so deep in the hole... we'd have to legalize coke, and our trade with other states would get fucked up, the rest o the coutry would hate us, atleast 10 years of burocratic red tape, yadda yadda yadda.

    dun be dumb.

  • RussianDefender: "nuke the shithole garbage"

Nuke Russian cities first, they are so dirty, even Bangladesh is cleaner. Many astray dogs, drunk men pee on the streets, motorists stop to poo behind birch forests along the highways because there are no rest areas:-)! California garbage collect 3 garbage bins each week from homes (trash, recyclable, and green). Dog owners pickup their pet's poo so it doesn't get carried by rains into its rivers and oceans. Volga River will be dead soon! Shithole!

  • LOL The United Shits of AmUrica

    has nothing to be proud

Vile cities like New York full of dirty infested rats and cockroaches, dirty rotting skycrapers, and dirty drug cartel cities in California and full of worthless gays your dumb citizens need to get educated and lose your 2/3 obese population maybe we can help by Nuking some of your Shithole cities ))

  • Russian Defender, language you use speak for your kind of education. Russian universities sell college degrees. So many unemployed doctors, some get paid$150/month (welfare receptient get $800/mo in US!). New York rats will not even live in dilapidated Stalin apartments, where 5 families live in one room :) .Astrakhan to Moscow rail line is main transit route to Europe for Afghan cocaine and Asian drug cartel, Russian Mafia runs it, and government can't stop it, because Mafia=Kremlin! Yawn....

  • LOL AmUrican education with its

continue dropping of curriculum, drop outs

    and dropping literacy rates

New Yorkers " RATS" cannot afford apartments

in Moscow you idiot. and you can thank

The AmUrican Government for funding the biggest drug cartels in the world with its drug bases in California via Mexico.hahahaha

your vile country is the gateway to drug cartels and the 2nd biggest crime rates you stupid yank :))
