  • I think that sex is good and that parents shouldn't make kids afraid of it or embarrassed by it for banning it, because you don't want your kids to grow up feeling guilty about sex. I think violence should be banned but usually its the opposite way around in this world.

  • When I have kids someday, I think I'll follow a similar philosphy like you explained.

I'd let my kids watch movies like Transformers, Terminator, X-Men, Van Helsing etc etc.

But I guess I'd always consider this pr case.

For instance, I wouldn't let my kid see Lord Of the Rings at a very young age.

When it comes to sexual content, I'd "shield" my kids from it. Unfortunately alot of TV-series that are popular have too much "Hollywood-style" sexual content, so it is hard to sheild kids from it.

  • This is a very delicate subject for most parents I think.

When I grew up, my parents were very lilberal when it comes to movies.

I saw Alien when I was 9-10 (with my dad) and they hardly ever denied me to look at violent movies.

But when it came to sexual content, they tried to prevent me seeing movies with such content.

I don't have kids, but I agree with you on the spearation of fictional violence vs "real world" violence like Star Wars vs Hotel Rwanda.

  • were did u get the 24 ringtone?

  • I loved Blackhawk Down. Great video, man!

  • Dude why no videos for so long

  • vids are coming soon

  • what about videogames would you allow him to play games like gta

  • SEX AND VIOLENCE!!!!

  • I have said it many times: You are a good father. You and I are identical in our regards to media intake with our children. I mean word for word.

  • I don't understand the purpose of this video and I don't believe that you interested either in others making thousands of videos like yours in which they share what the kids can or can't watch. It seems to me that you're looking for a confirmation that your approach is right...sigh

  • no, no confirmation, it was a response to a good friend. He asked for a response from those with kids, that simple. thanks for the comment.

  • Btw, nice videos, even if I don't always agree with them (I'm a long-time IT guy too), but I stopped watching them after a while; your hands in almost every video just drive me nuts (you know what I'm talking about), but don't get me wrong, its not me telling you how you should use your hands, I'm just saying that it irritates me to no end hehe

  • You don't understand the purpose of this video because your a retard with a Liberal dick in your mouth. Comprehension while performing felatio is difficult. So you have my sympathies. Read the video description. He is sharing his opinion and MrBit has your approval in his ass. Now go get it!

  • lol sweet vid

  • great video....very interesting.

  • good video 100 totally

reel joy you vidsos keep up

  • 100 totally agree <----sorry miss abit

  • Honestly as none parent do you think it would be wrong to make a vid response?

  • why not? I responded as a parent as in the original vid by JSTU he requested a parent give their opinion.

  • He move's around in the chair at lot so you can really tell the edit point's. The cut's got on my nerve, but otherwise I agree with you. Children can take more violence and understand it more as they get older. Some movies are just pure violence and pure sex. I think them movies are pointless and have no meaning. These films do have a story line but not a big or good one. Also I do believe that movies can have too much violence and sex in them, even for a normal adult to conceive.

  • yea, i had to cut down on the rambling.

  • Real glad I subscribed you have interesting views.

  • thank you.

  • I'm not a parent, but I still found this really interesting. Great video

  • Nice video

What would your views be towards video games since today they seem to cause more of an outrage by parents.

    again good video

  • I liked the ring from "24".

  • Here's the deal: you have to have a strong bond with your kid(s), because the world--through movies, games, and friends--will try to influence them. But if the child has that strong bond with both parents, you greatly increase the odds that the child will get his sense of Self, not from things "out there" but from the people he loves most. Simply put, a lot of the problems we have are due to people, as kids, trying to get the love they never got from their parents by other means. Sermons's over.

  • Great response. Thank you. Very well put especially with the fiction vs. reality violence. I'm glad you brought that up.

  • You're right Mr. Bit, this Is an excellent topic to discuss. My beliefs on Sex & Violence pretty much coincide with yours. You made some excellent points.

  • I agree with you, mrbit.

  • FUCK CHILDREN INDOCTRINATION!

    That is all.

  • I was 10

  • I wasnt allowed to go see JAws and I was like 11 or 12

  • flip?

  • you mean the camera??? no its the same old camera.

  • i love GI JOE

    the old ones

    JOOOOO JOEEEE

  • Here's a story, I was a blockbuster and a mother with 2 of her kids were standing in line renting "Team America:World police" and I asked her why she was renting the movie, and she said that It looked funny for her kids. After about 3 minutes talking to her, she didn't rent it, cause I explained the movie to her. This was a great example how, the marketing of movies have changed over time.

  • yeah I would wait, I remember in childhood my friends would see rated R movies and imitate them. some kids will soak it up like a sponge and talk about it a lot or imitate it. others won't, action movies are good I guess in the pg-13 range.

  • I don't understand what you mean by "He'll never see a brave heart" when you were talking about your son watching the latest Terminator Film.

  • not at this age is what i meant, braveheart does not fit into the fictional violence relm for me.

  • Ah, alright. Thanks

  • Violence would be more expectable than sex and swearing when I was young. I was brought up on Clint Eastwood movies, like the good, the bad and the ugly.

My parents didn't want me to see sex or even swearing, but people being shot and killed in a movie was ok. So in my case I didn't make a difference, if it was "fake" violence like " bugs bunny" compared to "real " violence like "Dirty Hairy"

Things have changed cause, a movie like "Dont mess with the Zohan" has all three, and aceptable.

  • For those who are wondering why I said "Bugs bunny" is because Elmer Fudd would always shot himself, or blowup himself going after the rabbit

  • thats how ppl become gothic/emo etc

  • evil Mr. Bit is here
