hey dude, remember distance between u and the bag u're to close, and in a boxing match they kill ya in that distance. Nice video and nice technique :) KEEP IT UP
These videos are not bad, but it's difficult for me to understand how someone can learn boxing without step in the ring and get hit sometimes to get the essence of the game. Your brain can't process those information just by watching a video. You must put everything you learn in front of an opponent.
It's funny how you even react to some comments Denny, obv a lot of people don't know anything about boxing =) Wish I had a pal who'd help me train like you have.
The guy doing the commentating doesnt really know about boxing. The shots he was calling were daft. Its a crappy technique anyway. You just cant call every shot for someone else esp if you throw 200 punches a round...
@Dennythetrainer believe me - hitting the bag 200 times in 180 seconds (or 1000 punches in 6 rounds) takes alot of discipline. At 40+ I put myself in a cauldron. Ill send a pm...
@PJ3love It's just a workout meant for the average person. It's not like the people that are gonna buy this are going to be fighting any time soon in a ring.
I´m a rower. I know what is pain, but when im looking on this, im saying.. this must be very very painful sport. I wanna to start with boxing. And btw thanks for your videos :-)
lol 1234... he throw 123... left hook to the head he throws it to the body. The guy walking in and out of shot.. his funny to. the only good thing about this video is the guys conditioning. good work on that.
Ah Denny you are an inspiration. Truly you are. I hope everything is alright. With things happening I have yet to have gotten your books but I will that's for sure. I'm wondering will there ever be a paper version? Hardcover or softcover? Would love to have those in my bookshelf of martial art books.
i dont think this was done that well, 123 is not jab, cross, jab and the trainer was complimenting when the guy wouldnt do what he asked, i could go on some more too
Good vid but seriously man you KNEW the cam was there, you could have stood anywhere but you decided to walk directly in front of where you put the camera?
he sells his jab short... its not as extended as i would like to see, especially a guy with his reach... practicing with a range, using combinations coming in and out is more realistic.
This is a supernice video, with great speed, great technique and power. But it really pisses me off that the mic-dude is constantly blocking the view! I managed to ignore him the first minute, but after 90 seconds... the only thing I wanted was to hurt him! : - D
switch your workouts every other day switch one day work as right handed, next day as if u were left-handed, it's helped me develop speed and power on my left punches
how often do you hit the bag?...im just getting into it but have been pushing wieghts for about 3 years..reckon its alright for me to hit the bag every second day after wieghts ..or is that overtraing?..many thanks
I have discovered there's no such thing as overtraining. There's under eating (healthy n nutritous) and under resting and sleeping. I've pushing weights and hitting the bag for 3 years. I do pump iron 4-6 times a week. After a 2 hr workout including weights, sauna, bike, treadmill I go home to my basement and hit the bag for 30 - 60 minutes . Just make sure you eat good and sleep good, don't believe that overtraining theory, doesn't apply to all of us.
@guayacan07 so you're saying you could workout for 7 hours a day from scratch and all you have to do is eat and sleep and you're all good? No, overtraining often occurs, and occurs when you exceed your recovery capacity, you won't overtrain if you have an excellent capacity to recover from exercise, and it takes more than eating and sleeping to build that.
my 85 everlast bag is doing the same, pull the stuff out, fill the bag back up and try to rotate, don't hit the bag on one side only, use the 4 sides for 4 days of the week
haha ok marciano! jk good stocky fighter, good inside work, but damn nice idea a heavy bag hanging from a tree never thought of that before, good idea, keep up the hard work
SHIT! ANYWAY THANK YOU I HAVE LEARN MUTCH FROM YOU I HAVE SO GUYS AFTHER ME ! THANK YOU MATE PLIZZ COME HWIT MOORE VIDEOS?!? GREETINGS!...Andreas... from norway!
just a quick question; do you wear wraps? when I don't bother for heavy bag training I really know about it when throwing uppercuts. Would you suggest a specific uppercut bag?
Ha ha ha! We laughed about it after we did it but we had a great time filming it. The reason we did this was for some Audio Workouts I was creating so they were never actually meant to be for the viewing of thousands of people! Once I had taken the audio from the camera, I thought they would be good for You Tube, even if Wayne is walking in front of the camera... :)
The Energy you spent in that round on the heavy bag was outstanding ! ! !
Your videos are so useful, for training in Boxing and Fitness... I do expect to see you working the corner of a World Champion some day soon.... I wish you the best......Keep the videos coming, they make for great STUDY ! ! !
Thanks for giving your time to watch the vids and writing your comments.
Glad you are liking the Audio Workout idea. That is something that is really growing and the future products are going to be amazing. For now though, it is like this. Hard work, breath, focus and practice.

@PJ3love Of course you can...that's discipline. Boxing is not about smashing the bag and going crazy, its about being disciplined in many ways.

At 2:43 did he jump to throw that left cross? If he did, man... u need to correct that urg. Need more hip work.
But good trainning... on the way to be a good boxer!
