real estate us generally cheaper depending on where you come from and what city you want to live in. any ski resort town will be comparable to living somewhere like california. however, cities like denver and colorado springs, the median house is probably 2000 square feet for 200,000-250,000 depending on the neighborhood. our neighbor is listing their 4000 sq.ft. house for 316,000. its a great place to live!

@sickwiththetruth Abduhi just has his opinion and wants to troll about it. He probably dosen't like the type of activities the city has. anyways its prob cheap cause my parents sometimes even go to a hotel although i alrdy live here just to enjoy/do something. also most of the hiking and such is FREE! :D
