@types10000 As for not knowing when life begins, it must be noted that argument was part of the original pro choice argument, as it went before court in Roe V Wade. That being said, it's also important to note we had not the same technology we now have, and many studies have shown heartbeats after 8 days. Though personally I disagree with birth control pills, I've no right to stop one from using them to prevent pregnancy. I can oppose abortion, which is a violation of the infant's basic rights.

@types10000 As for not knowing when life begins, it must be noted that argument was part of the original pro choice argument, as it went before court in Roe V Wade. That being said, it's also important to note we had not the same technology we now have, and many studies have shown heartbeats after 8 days. Though personally I disagree with birth control pills, I've no right to stop one from using them to prevent pregnancy. I can oppose abortion, which is a violation of the infant's basic rights.

So actually this video is consistant with wikipedia and other biographical sources that verify that Margaret Sanger believed that black people and the poor were undesirable genetic sources. From your comment it seems that you would also support negative eugenics & the resulting genocides

@gracehi88 I am in favor of not passing on defective genes to future generations if those defects produce predictable birth defects that seriously detract from one's quality of life. In cases where prospective parents know that such serious genetically caused and predictable birth defects are likely, I'm all for adoption instead of conception.
Thousands starve to death every day. We need more adoptive parents and a lower birth rate.

@gracehi88 Margaret Sanger (Wikipedia has good information on her career and beliefs) wasn't in favor of widespread abortion and was a strong proponent of prevention through the use of effective contraception.
The real problem isn't abortion - that's a symptom.
The problem is unplanned pregnancies.
Let's treat the problem, not the symptom.
Also, please strongly consider adoption over conception.

Wikipedia's info is truthful, however it omits her belief that black people and the poor were unfit for reproduction, a fact that is verifiable with other reliable sources. I agree that unwanted pregnancies are a problem, but neither abortion nor genocide is the answer. Adoption is great option for those with unwanted pregnancies, as there is a surplus of parents wanting to adopt.
