i watched a doco on this revolution. Gaddafi suppressed his own people through violance and torture hence the term the iron first ruler. what would you do if you lived in a country where your leader has killed your family just because they talked back and spoke what they felt. I'm not justifying his death as I felt it as extreme but this man killed his own countrymen with out no remorse. He isolated his country from foreignism that is the sole reason he assumed power when he did.
When I heard the news of the end of Gaddafi, I felt that Libya could take a step forward into the right direction with the most apparent opportunity. And he make a gold dinnar - which was be a walue to sell the oil .-

When I heard the news of the end of Gaddafi, I felt that Libya could take a step forward into the right direction with the most apparent opportunity. But after knowing that his body is being hung on display in a meat store, for which (all in their rights) the rebels and opposing individuals can spit their despisal upon, it's only a matter of time before they could potentially rebel once more...

People are saying that this is horible and they shouldn't have killed him, but look at Osama Bin Laden, he killed hundreds of thousands maybe millions of people, so did Hitler, no one cared when they died because of what they did. Gadaffi did exactly the same thing and killed so many. In my opinion, I think that this needed to be done, he wouldn't have been stopped any other way.
