So haunting. I love this show so much. Its the absolute best thing tv has ever had the pleasure of showing. Flawless writing, flawless cast.Michael C Hall doesn't just play Dexter , he IS Dexter. I couldn't imagine anyone else as Dexter. Not that big a fan of Jennifer Carpenter. There are so many other females that would have been better as Deb. In the books she is described as being very very hot and very voluptuous, and that's just not Jennifer Carpenter. Best show ever. Best theme ever.

Dexter is way better than Criminal Minds, CSI, NCIS, Prison Break because it only focuses on one person and that person is not only a blood splatter analyst but also a serial killer and that what makes it great. Not only watching cops catching criminals, but also your watching a cop being a criminal.

every show I have ever watched degrades as the seasons go by. Meaning that writing, acting, camera work, just starts to become sloppy. I noticed that in Lost (of course, thats the biggest example of how not to progess a TV show), House, The Office, etc etc. Dexter too, acting wise, directing wise, writing wise has degraded but has degraded the LEAST.
