russell 08, thanks for all your great postings!...i recall an hysterical skit i cannot find...i think its carol, tim, vicki & harvey in a chamber music ensemble...they are playing this "serious" musical selection, obviously everyone making up their part as they go along, acting very serious, playing a totally unrelated series of notes...russell, if you find this, please post it...it's one hysterical CBS moment!

Oh, I see! I love all the chaos skits, so that is why I asked! It looked so much like Poseidon though, the way the waiters are dressed and the tablecloths and the set! There is another wonderfully chaotic one about a couple (Carol and Harvey) who just had their home redone, and EVERYTHING BREAKS, falls apart, leaks, explodes, disintegrates, and crashes,  As a kid I LOVED that, and , having seen it last night, loved it JUST the same! Thanks for your reply!

The big chaos in the restaurant scenario at 2:23 - was that a spoof of the Poseidon Adventure ship's ballroon capsize? It is so quick, but it looks like someone is being Shelley Winters, and I see extras diving for cover, and plates and debris falling!! I wonder if they spoofed THAT as well as Airport 75...?

actually not a spoof of the poseidon adv. carol burnetts character complained that she was never noticed, because of her looks, invisible...so she gets upset and trips the waiter, and finally thinks they SEE her only to have them confused as to what caused all the chaos...
