Even though I was on the winning team, I can now see how really, really, really disorganized this was. Then again, all 3 teams are there to learn, which is why I'd like to thank Sal for casting this, because it helps to see the flaws of the whole team with someone experienced commentating. :)

Disclaimer: these are friendly games between semi-casual teams formed on reddit over the past 2 or 3 months. We asked Sal if he would cast them for us and he did, which we are very happy for. <3

And yeah, this game is particularly derpy. Gullywash was TG's choice and I think MeaN just haven't practiced it together. At the same time TG felt so confident after rolling over every point that they started overextending and playing stupid which still hardly cost them anything in the end.

@AmariLen I played in these matches and I thank Sal for casting them. We're not the best of players, but we're ALL dedicated to getting better, everyone has to start somewhere right?

I'm not upset, I'm just more disappointed in the comments. Watching invite level is great, but you know there are other divs who put in just as much hard work, time and effort into playing. Plus, if any of our videos can convince someone to join comp TF2 (as the earlier JR cast did for me) then all the better.

@rampzirra If you put in as much effort as Invite teams then you would have steamrolled the otehr team. Tell your scouts and soldiers to go practice MGE, tell your engineer to learn all the sentry spots, tell your medic to not run into the enemy heavy for no apparant reason and get a little better at communicating with your team and I promise you will do a lot better.

@madsmadsmads14 n__n I'm Khaleesi, medic for JR so not actually playing in this particular game. You make some valid points and I don't doubt that the teams will take it to heart but I think that a lot of people are missing the fact that invite level players were once not awesome. To say that players of all skill levels don't put in the same level of effort as the top is a little unfair.

Regardless of how you feel, I'm still glad Sal took time out to show some love to the little guys.

@rampzirra I think it's great that Sal casted these games, the thing that kind of put me off though is that many players here look like they haven't really made that big of an effort, I might be wrong though. Some of the most important parts of competitive tf2 weren't held in this game like "don't overextend" and "stick together" which could have been solved by the team having a little better communication.

Highlander is the BEST. I personally prefer it to 6v6 because there is so much chaos that it is much more difficult for the teams to function as one, making it very entertaining :D
