I've been there it a great looking place we drive up from Virginia in the US, for Val-de Fort in 2007 they have a Rustic looking Inn you can stay in if you not willing to camp the Beer is very good too....
they all can speak a little english, people from Montreal speak it more the people from Quebec City but the french adds a lot it's not difficult for an american there..

this is a LARP-City. So Bicolline is a really nice LARP-Campaign and i would loved to play with them the hole year but I am from Germany. Just look for Bicolline at wikipedia
