Honestly this performance is not even bad at all! But compared to all the other amazing live performances Mariah Carey has given us throughout her career this is definitely not one of her best. But I mean even at it's worst Mariah still is outshines all of the other mediocre singers out there. And the media just tends to really take things out of proportions.
I agree that Mariah Carey was nervous but what spoilt her performance and made her stand out in a wrong light is that her hand movements was totally just wrong..She wud have been better keeping her microphone free hand on the mike
