  • I wish I had a capo! Do u really need it to play this song?

  • @4everbeauty8 You could play it without a capo. As long as you tune your guitar like he says, it will sound correct on it's own, just in a lower key. However, you couldn't play along with the original recording and you'd have to sing in a lower range, which may be difficult for some people. Try it!

  • @4everbeauty8 get a pencil and a couple of rubber bands and your are done.

  • This is an alternate tuning (CGDGBE) from what Lindsey actually uses, which is just drop D tuning. The way he plays it is a bit harder. Plus, most of the videos on here (with the exception of one) including this one, play the 3rd phrase wrong. Listen to any of Lindsey's versions and he picks the high E string (note is actually G) on the off beat (& of 1) not the downbeat. Nice picking though.

  • Thank you. And I hope I can play as well as you one day.

  • I'm not sure where my video response is, but I got a lot out of this and wanted to show you how it's sounding for me so far. Check my latest version out at jimsitter001 if it doesn't show up here. Thanks!

  • Great skills, on all your videos: thanks! When I search for live performances of Lindsey on YT, he seems to play it in drop D, with capo on 4th (or lower in some cases). But most covers are done your way. Can you tell me why this is?

  • Thanks so much, very helpful! It would be great if you could zoom in more on the right hand for the next one though (like to see a close up of what strings/frets you're on) :)

  • on the tab tuning is rong its E B G D C G and also you start on F# not C# this is switcht throu the hole tab

  • Great work.Sounds note perfect to me! Best of the bunch by a mile.

  • Sneaky. Sounds nice.

  • I've wanted to learn this song for years. Can you make a video with closer looks at your LEFT hand? My basic fingerpicking style is thumb and three fingers. Depending on the song, I'll alternate between this style and a thumb and two fingers.

  • thats good guitar sounds sweet!!!

  • Greed ,,,,, your all about it dude,,,

  • very nice... i love this... every one seems to come with a different tunning... i wonder wich Lindsay used ?

  • this is good. the rest of how we hear it is 90% studio dubbing.

  • it's not played with a swing.

  • Need closer look at fretboard and teach in a less frenetic manner. Thanks for showing me this.
