  • A lot of rubbish being spoken about Paul not having the right to play the Beatles catalogue. I think there's no greater way to pay respect and homage to his former band members. Much of this stuff was written by Paul (incl. this one) but by agreement, their songs were credited as a partnership.

  • Keep that one, mark it fab.

  • im 13 years old and im pauls biggest fan

  • you will always be my paulie to me :)

  • Is it me or does this sound just as great as the masters, even if hes in his 60's?

  • Why does the producer insist on pitch-modifying the one and only McCartney?

  • I've noticed in later years that Macca has a tendency to sing a bit flat - but pitch correction totally ruins the performance, and anyone who's recording music will tell you that performance > pitch (provided the person is at least mostly on key). It makes him sound bizarre and I don't like it. I wish they wouldn't do this to live DVDs.

  • @Zebonka Fully agree with you there - I mean everyone I know who's seen him play live says he's an amazing performer (which you can hear through older live albums e.g. Tripping the Live) so why someone (coughHicks) finds it necessary to overproduce it I will never know.

  • Happy Birthday

  • this is good but i like it better when he was with the beatles

  • I LOVE YOU PAUL! Heard you had flu recently. Please get well soon! Ya need a nurse?

  • ssssssssSiZzLiN' HOT!

  • clip was too short. the song is still good and weel sung.

  • I like Paul's Les Paul :D

  • Don't think he's ever played as well live.

  • I loved this song when Sir Paul sings it when he's younger

  • people think he is dead, and the guy up on stage is William Campbell

  • A great concert by Sir Paul.

  • I can see John, George and Ringo on the stage play with him...

  • Paul is still so adorable :)

    Love him <3

  • he still got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • With the Wings tours in the 70's he didnt do hardly any Beatle songs live. The reason he does them now is because he realizes that people want him to, and he has a limited time left to perform them. I was there in the 60's and have everything the Beatles did . It was the combination of the 2 talents which made the songs so unique. He lost that in the solo songs. Although still good songs, John would have definately elbowed some of the lyrics (especially on albums like Pipes of Peace).

  • wish there much more songs from wings/solo years.

  • Did I miss something? I heard the concert would air on ABC this weekend, about now.

  • he'll always have to be part of the beatles but I love his solo stuff sooo much, it's great he does a mix of both!! X :)

  • Pat30d you are absolutely right!!! I agree with you 100% !!! He is amazing! Lovely Paul!!! :)

  • Pfffft, i'm glad you didnt go either, Paul needs less fans like you who think he IS the Beatles and more people who are smart enough to know that everything he's written since the Beatles is just as good and in many cases better than his Beatles songs, long live solo Paul and phooey to every person who thinks he IS the Beatles, you missed your chance to see the Beatles in the 60's .. too bad.

  • i am 22 never had the chance to see them, fans even today are younger and he is the only link to the beatles the younger generation has, dont want people to think he is the beatles then he needs to stop acting like it by when singing showing video of the beatles singing the song he is singing,he links almost every show to the beatles and makes it the center of the show he makes us think that way,if he wants to be know as solo he needs to stop advertizing the beatles and focus a show on himself.

  • He has a really long carrer. He used to play all of his personal songs, such as the wings period, etc, etc.

But now he preferres to mix everything and give the fans beatles stuff, is more like a tribute to the band, to their former members, his friends. Ringo does the same on his show, they cant denied they were beatles.

  • Try to look at it this way. With all the Beatle tribute bands out there making money on the Beatles Legacy, if anyone has that right its this man., the author of over 50% of the Beatles music. This is coming from someone who sat in front of the TV watching their first American performance.

  • Paul is the most beautiful man in the planet. Not only because he is charming and beautiful, but mainly because he is talented, polited, brilliant, and very very special. He is a living legend... that s all. I dont mind about his age, because he is stil a boy, a beatle forever.

  • I agree 100%.

I'm 17. Doesn't matter how old he is, he is forever fab, forever beautiful. These videos prove that and all the interviews he's done. He's just.... incredible.

  • Paul still rockin'

  • Would've loved to see him do this playing bass.

  • Abe's drumming execution is more dynamic than the original drum beat. You're great man!!!

  • Love you, Paul !! You are still awesome !! Peace/Love Deb xx

  • based on this clip? nah....

  • It is one of his last. After his 2010 tour he's retiring sadly

  • I heard that, but I wasn't too sure. I see people didn't like hearing my comment... understandable. He can still sing very very well, but compared to how he used to sing, not so much.

  • Quite right, but some people like him more now that he sounds older, bluesier with more cracks, than back when he was still the pretty boy with the golden voice. I favor the '65-79 McCartney, but you can''t have it all. Unfortunately he doesn't always hear what to release and what not. He shouldn't have taken another shot at You Tell Me and some of the tracks on Electric Arguments

  • It's hard to admit it, but Paul doesn't have the pipes he used to (he was easily one of the top five voices of rock n roll, imho). Of, course, he's almost 70-- what are you gonna do? Still love him, though.

  • Amen. It's great that he's singing still and that he's still able to sing.

  • @mrjjasanti

Are you serious with the who is this guy and why is he singing a Beatles song? What planet are you from?

  • LOL...sometimes we just have to shake our heads and move on.

  • Going to see him in 3 weeks! :D

  • woot

  • awesome!

  • he doesn't sing the whole song so its okay

  • it's his song

  • he wrote it

  • He wrote it. He was a former Beatle.

  • Because he wrote the song or john and george widows give him the right to play it.

  • too bad i live in crappy old california

  • @mrjjsanti

    sir paul mccartney

  • Incríble video... También te amo, Paul McCartney..!! jujujuju

  • Heard boots of all three shows. Still sounds great by himself. Wish they didn't use a lot of autotune on these releases. He gets out of breath a little easier but his pitch is still fine.

  • Still sounds great!

  • *sigh* I was typing a comment on how amazing this version&video is....then the song ended 30 seconds in... *sad face*

  • a brand new fresh awesome delicious Paul's video!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you still got it Paul

  • awesome! one of my favourites

  • his voice sounds very studio enhanced

  • I saw him in Halifax a few days before his New York visit and he didn't sound as good there as he does here. Seems suspicious...

  • I wish they would show a whole song. :(

  • Cool
