  • i get lag whenever i turn or move too fast (extreme lag during impact battles) but no lag whasto ever during dungeons..... what gives?

  • @493pokemaniacV2 it's really hit or miss and I'm not really sure which combination of hardware works best to get the game lag free. Like I said I was running on a dell inspiron E1505 1.83ghz with 1GB ram and Intel Integrated graphics.

  • I fogot to add, it requires not fixes. I am even using Glide64 for the game, and there is still no slowdown but the natural slowdown that was on the console.

  • This game runs on full speed on a 3.0GHZ core i3. On older PC, there was slowdown.

  • ¨lol lag on the second boss PLZZZ HELP

  • i have a 1.8 gig prosseser with 512 mem

i used project 64 1.6 with rices vid plugin 5.9.9

enable faster texture loading ,,fast texture, and faster loading tiles

to fix gfx problem you can go into advanced settings

click on alternitive texture size calculation

you can't get to alternitive texture calculation unless you go into configure gfx plugin while game is running

im using Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (E) [!].z64

    europe version.

works alot better than usa version and it's in eng.

  • @cjmccoy1986 yes but the point of this video is to show that the game can run with almost no lag using default settings in pj64.

  • @SMAAAASHTV i understand that i was just giving and alternet setup for the people like me who are watching this vid and can't get it to run smoothly with default setup took me a long time to get it to run smoothly on mine and it was one of my all time fav games growing up i was just trying to share

  • @cjmccoy1986 for sure! thanks for helping out...hopefully your setup can help the others who aren't getting a lag free game on default settings. Sorry if I seemed rude before, I meant no harm.

  • @cjmccoy1986 I can't figure it out. Are you changing the settings using the rices plugin? If so where can i download this plugin. Appreciate the help. This is one of my favorite childhood games! <3 I also have project 64 1.7 if that helps.

  • where can you find Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon for project 64

  • This is so much easier, since i have this for actuall N64

  • my specs are: intel celeron CPU 3.06GHz RAM: 1,50 Gb graphic card: RADEON 9250 is it enough to make this game work in my PJ64? hope there is, this game rules so much and i want to complete it because i couldn't as a kid

    Thank you for your attention

  • @tetradro not sure what combination of specs make this game run well but I've heard that a lot of people who do get it to run without a lot of lag are using intel processors with at least 1gb of ram....not sure about the graphics cards though as it runs perfectly fine on my laptop that has onboard intel graphics.

  • @SMAAAASHTV well i use PJ64 1.7, the game works fine if i use the ricevideo plugin thing, the bad thing is that the hearts, the weapon icon and the ryo numbers go twisted, i hope i dont have to trust in ryo xD (ryo throwing seems lame and i dunno where are the shops)

  • hmm okey, but how do you get it like almost lagg dree? when i'm playing it's lagging all the time e.e

  • Some reason I can play this game perfectly fine until I push record with FRAPS, then the frame rate plummets. I have rice video plugin installed, but it's not any different then the default. Any idea whats wrong?

  • I managed to also get it running lag free with default settings + Mudlord's video plug-in... You ppl should really try this with Mudlord's video plug-in.

The graphics card you're using seems to also affect. If you can run games like Half-Life 2, then you should be able to run this.

    I hope this helps! :D

  • Please tell me where do I put the .ini file? And how do I change a file into a .ini?

  • @supergarbage123 ummm what ini file? if you're talking about mamewah, you posted your comment on the wrong video. If not please let me know what ini file you are talking about.

  • I had a Laptop with 1.4GHz, 512Mb RAM, and a ATI 128mb graphics (not sure of the exact model but it's not a good one)

the game run PERFECTLY on PJ64 (obviously the flickering ect)

    but, my C2Quad @ 2.6GHz, 2GB RAM, ATI HD 4850 1GB DDR3, lags.. LOL

this game is a serious pain in the hole!

  • What are the controls for the keyboard?

  • @0nlytimeevrc0menting whatever you set them to, I actually use a usb controller.

  • thanks

  • actually, now that i think about it, mine ran faster on my laptop too.

    i had a core duo @ 1.83 ghz with a ati x1300, and 3 gb ram.

i had no lag at all.

  • The game also won't lag if you use nemu64 emulator.

  • when it comes to actually running this game nearly lag free, maybe its a intel thing? i have a intel dual core centrino @ 2.3ghz, 4gb ram and a geforce 98000m gts, 1gb video card..

  • yeah cuz I remember on my old desktop which is AMD it lagged a lot but that computer was also only 1.4GHZ athlon xp with 512mb ram and a 128mb geforce fx5200.

  • My FX laptop plays this game the SAME way as this video.

  • the computer this is running on in the video is a dell inspiron e1505 1.83GHZ intel core duo with 1GB ddr4200 and the graphics is just an integrated intel 945gm chipset.
