  • go try it push the shift lever up without using your clutch but let go of the throttle a lil

  • you can shift without clutch

  • how do u shift without a clutch. im confused

  • let go of throttle, shift up, and throttle again

  • You ease off throttle rather let go.

  • PRELOAD the shifter, put pressure up on the shifter as if you were going to shift, let off the throttle for a split second and it slides right in.

  • False nuetral in 2nd to 3rd can be a fun end to your day though. Just learn to ride them constant speed and live with that being good enough. 1st to 2nd on a wheelie? You must really hate your transmission.

  • @toctuning its just as smooth as shifting regular

  • @fdation You must go through gear boxes monthly.

  • @toctuning aparently you have no idea how a constant mesh gear box works.. 1st to 2nd clutchless shift would not do anything bad to your transmission

  • @NickSoldal Shut up, twat. Your clueless as fdation. Both of you are annoying.

  • @toctuning Wow touchy much, i wasnt being rude or anything.. i suppose the fact that im a qualified motorcycle mechanic wouldn't put any merit to my post. Read up on how constant mesh gearbox's work and you will find that there is no difference between pulling in the clutch and backing off the throttle. all you are essentially doing it getting rid of the "load" on the gearbox, so infact clutchless gear changes are better overall for your bike as you dont wear your clutch as fast.

  • @NickSoldal The merit of your post isn't what is in question and neither is the fact clutchless upshifts are just fine for modern transmissions (even cars don't mind if done right) but what I am talking about is the fact that in a situation such as a wheelie MOST people reef on the shifter hard enough that it eventually bends the shift forks and rounds the dogs to the point that you will find false nuetrals between higher gears. 1st to 2nd takes alot of force and is easy to damage things.

  • honestly it's not that difficult. just get on a bike, or quad for that matter.

it can be done really quick or as slow as you want. if you're givin it throttle, lightly try to shift up (pre-load) and it wont shift... it'll go into next gear when you let off the throttle for a second.

magic. haha. not too hard to accomplish. ;)

do it all the time on my rm125

  • thats good man u use any clutch changing dont u hit neutril ?
