  • I wrote this on June 4th, 1989 prior to my first trip to London which happened on August 26, 1989 when I played my first London rave to the tune of 25,000 people. Not too bad considering we were the first American's outside of Detroit to know what techno actually was. If you look up "We Call It Techno" (Trailer) on Youtube, it becomes apparent where this went for a new scene emerging in Europe in 1989,

  • @pzar Vinyl that you talking about has this B2 track 'Space Opera Theme' (which is just fantastic track), which i consider to be the first trance tune (along with KLF's 'What time is love?' and they sound a bit similar).
