yeah, she's russian. Both her parents are russians therefore she's russian. she moved to the states as a child but she is non the less russian. Having an american passport doesnt change the fact that by blood she;s russian. A passport is nothing but a document. Her blood heritage is russian.

By the way, once she recovers from her ACL injury, she is going back to gymnastics, to see whether she wants to go for 2012. Nastia basically did the same thing, it just took Shawn longer. It's her life, and she can choose whatever she wants.
