Molto deve la F1 a Niki. Prima del suo avvento in Ferrari del suo incidente , del suo ritorno e delle sue vittorie la F1 non era uno sport molto popolare. La gente inizio' ad appassionarsi proprio a seguito delle vicende di questo giovane austriaco: computer, ostinato nella ricerca della vittoria, resuscita dopo il Nurburgring e vincedi nuovo. Forse non e' mai successo prima nel mondo dello sport.

I don't think anyone was selfish that day at Zandvoort. When you consider that this was before the days of pits-to-car radio and the pits would have had no way to inform the drivers about Williamson's accident using their pit boards, plus bearing in mind that at those kind of speeds David Purley could easily have been mistaken for Williamson himself, the other drivers did the only thing they could.

it looks like you didn't read what i wrote - I didn't write that anyone deserves to die, I simply meant that everyone (of course Stewart aswell) who drove past Williamson should be treated in the same way if such a crash happened to him. In other words (lighter) one, for whom gp points are more important that avoiding possible death of another driver should not expect that if a crash happens to him other drivers will screw gp points and help him. If you don't give don't expect to be given.
