Unemployment, drug addiction, prostitution, organ trafficking, and terrorism. Thousands of Russian people are now arrested for dissent and opposition to the regime. Torture in prisons. The country has 64 oligarch incomes over several billion dollars a year. 80 percent of the population is just trying to survive.

Stalin's industrial ideas were taken from Trotsky and other party members.

As far as your boss goes, it's best to take some kind of action. You can either tell him you are not interested and walk away or you can get in touch with Better Business Bureau. There's no excuse for that kind of behavior.

So since a few Croatians in World War II decided to help the Nazis, that means all Croatians are evil? Do you know who Josip Broz Tito was? He was one of the leaders of the Yugoslav resistance against the occupying Nazis. He was also a Croatian. Croatians and Serbians are humans, just like anyone else. Like any other humans, both groups are capable of doing great good, as well as great evil. Remember that the world is not as black and white as you make it out to be.

i dont think its fair to argue that a succesful system works because it continually breaks and causes serious long and short term damamge to its people, therefore capitalism doesnt work and neither does communism its simply a choice between the two wether you want freedom and destruction or safety and control. personally im a social democrat but hey that doesnt work either so...

@SubSurreal Under the code of the "naughty document" written up between Churchill and Stalin most other nations during that period did not have a choice but to accept communism because they were put under Soviet sheres of influence as I am sure you remember. Continuing on to Cuba; Cuba lost 500,000 government jobs in 2005 and another 30,000 in 2005-2011.Besides despite the fact that communism may have worked throughout a period time history has shown us and will show us again communism fails.

@MadM0nte And capitalism fails not? Every 60 years there is a financial crisis. US has over 14 trillion debt. The rate of suicides, homocides, criminals, prisons, and depressions is skyhigh - higher than ever in the soviet union.
Capitalism appeals to the lowest insticts like greed and selfishness - thats why he works!
Its very naive to think that there is an economic system that really work. They all fail!

@SubSurreal I beleive in capitalism because capitalism is founded on that very infalible principal that things change and systems fail it is not about the U.S. and for the last time it never has been capitalism is global and it is unstoppable. Why because so long as there is somthing one needs and it cannot be provided one will have to buy it if they do not poses the finances to do so they will sell. Where you live is irrelevent want and need and greed are to human to be fought.

@SubSurreal P.S. The U.S. and othe Atlantic nations aswell as wstern euoropean countries(under acapitalist economy) not only went to the moon but crushed the Soviets economicaly. The core of capitalism is that things fail, they are supposed to things live and they die. I must have heard it a thousand times and every time I say the same thing, all l things come to an end and so will communist China and like most communist nations it will collapse from the inside out. You see the source of China's wealth is it's bounty of cheap labor which forces it's people to work in highly unpeasent conditions. It will loose it's industrial power to unionization like in the U.S.

He established the Northern Camps of Special Interest (SLON) which was the predecessor of the GULag which killed millions.

@thatsgerman1 there's no scientific evidence, just Nazi-made propaganda and pictures from the Russian Civil War famine and the American 30' famine that are shown to us as Soviet made famine. You have the claims of friends and grandparents and so on, but there is no evidence that support their claims, just propaganda. And what has the holocaust to do with this? It's about the 'Holodomor' and not about the holocaust, those are two different phenomena and aren't related
